Relocation of the Jurong East Bus Interchange (#JEBI) from 6 Dec 2020 🚌

#PSA 📢 From 6 Dec 2020, the existing Jurong East Bus Interchange (#JEBI) will be relocated to facilitate the construction 🚧 of the Jurong Region Line 🚆 and the Jurong East Integrated Transport Hub (#JEITH)! It will operate at its relocated premises until around 2027 – when the JEITH is completed.

We’ve made some adjustments to help ease the transition for commuters like you and I. Find out what they are in our FB post.

Enhancements to the Vehicular Emissions Scheme

The current Vehicular Emissions Scheme (#VES) will be enhanced to further promote the use of cleaner energy vehicles. Starting 1 Jan 2021, owners who purchase vehicles in VES Bands A1 and A2 will receive an additional rebate of $5,000 for cars and $7,500 for taxis. Surcharges for vehicles in C1 and C2 will be increased from 1 Jul 2021.

Coupled with the Electric Vehicle Early Adoption Incentive (EEAI), owners considering new fully electric cars or taxis would now be able to enjoy rebates up to $45,000 and $57,500 respectively.

After slightly more than a year, we’ve successfully completed the tunnel breakthrough for Punggol Coast MRT station on the North East Line Extension (#NELe)! 🚇 The NELe will directly serve the future Punggol Digital District. 🎉

Opening of new slip road from Halus Link to TPE

A new slip road connecting Halus Link and TPE (CTE/SLE) will open on Saturday, 28 Nov 2020, at 5am 🎉

As a new link to TPE, this new road will not only ease current traffic along Punggol East, it will also enhance connectivity within the Punggol and Pasir Ris areas. This milestone marks the completion of our two-phase expansion of KPE and TPE interchange that has been progressively opening in stages since 2018.

#PSA 📢 Four MRT stations along the Tuas West Extension (#TWE) - Gul Circle, Tuas Crescent, Tuas West Road and Tuas Link - will close earlier at 11pm on 21 Nov and 28 Nov to facilitate trip coil replacement works. 🚆

On the days of early closure, you can continue to take buses such as Service 182M, 192, 193 and 254 to get to your destinations in the area. 🚌
#PSA 📢🛣️ We’ve completed our review of #ERP rates for the school holiday period.

ERP rates will be reduced by $1 at two gantries along #CTE during specific morning time periods. These changes will take effect from Mon, 23 Nov 2020 to Sun, 3 Jan 2021.

As Fri, 1 Jan 2021 is a public holiday, we will revert to pre-school holiday rates from Mon, 4 Jan.
