Samavat anti-aircraft artillery systems, upgraded ZU-23-2/4 and other systems of the Iranian Air Defense Forces are currently operating over Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan and Ahvaz, intercepting medium-altitude optical-electronic reconnaissance and Kamikaze UAVs of the Israeli Air Force.
Anonymous Israeli officials and IDF sources say that Hel Haavir is embarking on a phase of complete liquidation of Iran's fuel and energy complex, with the ultimate goal of shutting down the military-industrial complex and starting unrest with the goal of "overthrowing the regime."
The IRGC press service says it is preparing a much more powerful and destructive retaliatory missile strike on Israel. It is likely that the IRGC will soon be able to rely on the beginning of active military-technical support from, Pakistan and the DPRK which in turn could be used as a proxy by Russia to also provide help.

📍 First wave of Iranian ballistic missile strikes hit Haifa and surrounding areas
🛰 The initial salvo of 25 to 30 medium-range ballistic missiles struck the Israeli city of Haifa and nearby locations.
🔻 Around 60–65% of the warheads were successfully intercepted by the David's Sling and Iron Dome air defense systems.
✈️ A critical detail of this strike: Israeli F-35I Adir stealth fighters, loitering over Iranian rear areas, were able to detect Iranian missiles during their boost phase using their onboard AESA radar systems (AN/APG-81).
🚀 These radars allowed air-to-air interception of ascending ballistic missiles—before they reach altitudes of 20–24 km—using AIM-120C-7 or D missiles from approximately 30 km away.
📡 The F-35I's weapon control system enables simultaneous targeting of 6 to 8 AIM-120C-7/D missiles, giving the Israeli Air Force a significant edge in early-phase missile interception.
Despite this many reached the final area, there the interceptors worked in a somewhat mediocre way

The most important feature of today's nighttime massive missile strike by the IRGC on targets in Israel was the recorded multiple increase in the power of the warheads.
According to Israeli media and to the videos of the arrivals:
"Some of the missiles fired from Iran last night were equipped with warheads weighing one and a half tons."
This indicates a shift in the priority of the IRGC command to the heavier Emad and Quadr IRBMs, the weight of the high-explosive fragmentation warheads of which reaches 800-1000 kg with an approach speed of warheads of 1700-2000 m/s. (missiles in the infographic above).
The Weizmann Institute in Rehovot was also hit.
It is also reported that the IRGC has begun using a new medium-range ballistic missile, the Hajj Qassem (named after the assassinated Qasem Soleimani), whose parameters are practically no different from the standard Fattah IRBM.

🇮🇱🇮🇷 Tamir Interceptor Falls in Tel Aviv Amid Limited IRGC Missile Strike
According to updated reports, the IRGC launched only 3 medium-range ballistic missiles in its latest salvo. While air raid sirens sounded across Israel, an Iron Dome Tamir interceptor launched — despite no confirmed incoming target — and struck the ground near a residential area in Tel Aviv.
💥 “It wasn’t a malfunction,” reported Yinon Shalom Yatach (i24), citing an IDF source. “It was an unsuccessful interception attempt.”
🔍 What went wrong?
– During launch, the EL/M-2084 multifunction radar — which provides real-time targeting data — lost track of a low-flying Iranian Soumar cruise missile, likely due to terrain masking or urban obstruction.
– With no guidance updates, the Tamir interceptor’s INS failed to reorient the missile to a safe altitude (~5 km), leading to its impact in a built-up area.
📉 Despite F-35I jets eliminating up to 120 TELs by IDF numbers (many of them were decoys), over 800–1000 Iranian launchers remain active — suggesting Iran may be probing Israeli ARROW-3, THAAD, and Iron Dome systems for weaknesses.
🚨 One suspected Soumar or Abu Mahdi cruise missile reportedly struck a target at Nevatim Airbase.
📡 Notably, the Nachshon Aitam AWACS aircraft — capable of tracking such threats — was not in use during the event.

📍 The further Iran's remaining missile bases are from Israel, the fewer viable options they have for striking Israeli targets.
While the reduction in missile attacks is expected, there’s a deeper strategic layer that deserves attention:
🔍 Israel’s current focus: Striking the “bottlenecks” of Iran’s missile program.
— 1. Blocking access to underground missile storage
By collapsing entry points to these hardened facilities, Iran is effectively cut off from its stockpiles. Quantity becomes irrelevant if you can’t launch.
👉 If a ceasefire is declared prematurely, hundreds of these missiles could suddenly become usable. That’s why a pause in hostilities is not ideal.
— 2. Targeting mobile launchers
Iran has a limited number of mobile launch systems. Once destroyed, they’re extremely difficult—if not impossible in wartime—to replace.
Despite progress, Israel’s Air Force currently controls only about one-third of Iranian airspace. But even that is enough to seriously cripple Iran’s strike capability.
📊 Map illustrating distances from Israel to Iran and highlighting the IRGC’s major missile bases:
🔴 Red dots: IRGC missile bases
🔵 Blue circle: Bases already damaged or sealed off by Israeli airstrikes (confirmed via geolocation and satellite images)
🟡 Yellow circle: Bases currently under fire control by the IAF
🎯 The strategy doesn’t just reduce the number of available missiles—it narrows the types Iran can use.
For example, two missile bases near Isfahan (marked in yellow) lie roughly 1,600 km from Israel. That means only long-range missiles (1,600+ km) can reach targets—missiles Iran has fewer of, and which are much more expensive to produce.
🧪 Most of these long-range types also use liquid fuel, making them more vulnerable and slower to launch.
📷 On the last slide: a breakdown of missiles that can no longer be launched effectively due to range constraints (marked in Yellow 🟡).

Why Everyone in Iran is Deleting WhatsApp
Against the backdrop of escalating conflict with Israel, the Iranian authorities have been actively urging citizens to immediately delete WhatsApp. The reason is the fear that the app collects data and transmits it to Israeli intelligence agencies.
And this is without taking into account the famous Pegasus and the Lavender project, which the IDF uses to track and eliminate targets in the Gaza Strip.
Therefore, the sooner we learn from the example of Iran and realize that WhatsApp is not a messenger, but a surveillance tool, and take the necessary measures to block it - the better.
