የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ ዛሬ ነሐሴ 1 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም. የተካሄደውን የልዩ የውጭ ምንዛሪ ጨረታ ውጤት ይፋ አድርጓል።

27 ባንኮች ተሳትፎዉበታል በተባለዉ በዚህ ልዩ ጨረታ አሸናፊ የሆኑት ተጫራቾች አማካይ ዋጋ በአንድ ዶላር 107.9 ብር እንደሆነ ብሔራዊ ባንክ ገልጿል። ይህም ነገ ከነሐሴ 2፤2016 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ በዉጪ ምንዛሪ ተመን ላይ ተግባራዊ ይደረጋሉ ።

የብሔራዊ ባንክ ገዢ ማሞ ምህረቱ ዉጤቱን ተከትሎ እንደተናገሩት "ተግባራዊ የተደረገዉን በባንክ ምንዛሪ ዋጋ እና በትይዩ የገበያ ዋጋ መካከል ያለው ልዩነት እና እንዲሁም የምንዛሪ ተመን መረጋጋት ትርጉም ያለው እድገት ሆኖ በማየታችን ደስተኞች" ነን ብለዋል።

የዉጪ ምንዛሪ ግብይት አብዛኛው እንቅስቃሴ ወደ ባንክ ሥርዓት እንዲሸጋገር የሚያደርግ ሲሆን በዚህም የውጭ ምንዛሪ የሚያመጡትን ላኪዎች እንዲሁም ብዙ ኩባንያዎችን እና የውጭ ምንዛሪ ለሚፈልጉ ሥራ ፈጣሪዎች አስተዋጽኦ ከፍተኛ መሆኑ ተመልክቷል ።

የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ ልዩ የዉጪ ምንዛሪ ጨረታዉን ከዛሬ ጀምሮ ሊያካሄድ መሆኑን መግለፁ የሚታወስ ሲሆን ቢዘህም ፍላጎቱ ያላቸዉ ባንኮች በጨረታው መሳተፍ እንደሚችሉ አስታዉቆ ነበር።

Following the results, National Bank Governor Mamo Mehretu said, "We are happy to see the difference between the bank exchange rate and the parallel market rate, as well as the stability of the exchange rate, as a meaningful development."

He observed that most of the foreign exchange trading activity is transferred to the banking system, thus contributing to the exporters who bring foreign currency as well as many companies and entrepreneurs who need foreign currency.

It should be remembered that the National Bank of Ethiopia announced that it will hold a special foreign exchange auction from today, and it announced that interested banks can participate in the auction.
