He Will Complete It!

What has God said He will do — He will complete it!

Isaiah 14:24,27
The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: [27] For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it ? and His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

What have you asked of the LORD; placing a situation, a need, or a person into His hand — He will complete it!

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

We can know with confidence that even though we might not see the fulfillment of His Word yet — His Word will surely be fulfilled!

Even though we may not see the answer to our prayers — our prayers will surely be answered!

While we wait, we can be at peace and thank Him that His answers are surely coming!

So, beloved, when you start to take the situation, or the person, or the need, and worry about it again, remember this, and be thankful to Him that He is at work, and He isn’t finished yet!

Knowing this you can do what Paul talks about in his letter to the Philippians! You can “be careful for nothing.” That means don’t fret, or worry, but trust Him for those things you have entrusted to Him!

Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

It’s hard to wait in peace sometimes, because we are all human! I understand that as well as anyone, but I have also experienced the faithfulness of the LORD in my life!

My granddaughter’s will sometimes tell me that God isn’t answering their prayers! He is answering our prayers, but sometimes the answer doesn’t appear to be as we hoped or envisioned! He is doing something far greater than we could ever hope or imagine! One day we will understand!

His delights are better than ours, beloved! We must trust Him that He will change our desires to His in time!

Psalm 37:4-6
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

The LORD, spoke a Word to me through a dear friend and co-worker when my kids were teens! She reminded me of the truth of this message and of His Words — God is at work in the lives of your children, even when you don’t see the results yet — And He will be faithful to complete the work He began!

Acts 27:25
Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

Thank You, LORD that You will finish the work You started! Nothing is to difficult for You! Nothing can stop Your purposes for our lives, or for this world!

And the people, when they knew it, followed Him: and He received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing. And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto Him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place. But He said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people. For they were about five thousand men. And He said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company. [16] Then He took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

In Mark chapter 8, we read of another time that Jesus fed 4000 with seven loaves and a few small fishes, with 7 loaves left over!

I believe 7 signifies the perfect amount left over to give! He has perfectly equipped His children to be the ministers of His good news, and to do His works!

Mark 8:2-9,17-21
I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with Me three days, and have nothing to eat: And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far. And His disciples answered Him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? And He asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And He commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and He took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to His disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people. And they had a few small fishes: and He blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets. And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and He sent them away. [17] And when Jesus knew it, He saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto Him, Twelve. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven. And He said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?

Beloved, i believe we see in these stories that He has given to us and equipped us with everything we need to go out and give to others!

2 Peter 1:2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our LORD, According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Mark 16:15-20
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the LORD had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the LORD working with them, and confirming the Word with signs following. Amen.

What are you doing with the basket you’ve been given? Take and eat of what Jesus has given you, and give of His abundance to others!

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

Will you turn your eyes to the LORD as you face your battles? Will you praise Him for what He has done in the past, and for what He has promised to do in the future? I pray you will!

Here’s how this story ended! The LORD did go out and fight; the enemy was completely defeated; and God’s people carried away great spoils!

2 Chronicles 20:24-25
And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

Beloved, are you facing a battle today? Say as Jehoshaphat did — I don’t know what to do LORD, but my eyes are on You!

It was also not meant to be a spectator event! It was to be a time where the Holy Spirit would move upon the gathering as they came together as the body of Christ, and everyone would participate as the Holy Spirit moved upon them!

1 Corinthians 14:26
How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

It was also to be a time to remember what Jesus had done for us on the cross; a time to share in the LORD’S supper as Jesus had instructed His disciples to do!

1 Corinthians 11:25-26
After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the LORD’S death till He come.

So, when you gather together in His Name expect the Holy Spirit to move in your midst! And when you go out from there into the world — Be a light and share His Word, and do His works!

Matthew 10:7-8
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

And done forget this — Only His Word has the power to transform lives! Don’t add to or take away from His Word!

Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

In Samuel we read the story of God’s people choosing an ungodly leader to rule over them! They not only rejected God’s leader, Samuel — the LORD said they had rejected Him!

1 Samuel 8:5-7,18-19
And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. [18] And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day. Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us.

Beloved, do you desire righteous leaders in your Country? Do you desire for your Country to be healed? Cry out to the LORD in repentance and humility, for your own sins and the sins of your nation! Pray that those who lead us, will lead according to His Word!

LORD, We come humbly before You today, we seek You LORD! Show us every single thing in our lives that displeases You! LORD, forgive our sins and the sins of our nation! Heal our land LORD, give us righteous leaders who will uphold Your precepts! We ask these things in Jesus Name!

But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. The disciple is not above his Master, nor the servant above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. If they have called the Master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

LORD, give us strength to live for You, to be obedient to You, to be persecuted for Your Name, to finish this life as faithful soldiers — No Matter The Cost, in Jesus Name!

Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job. And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Job 42:12-13,17
So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. He had also seven sons and three daughters. [17] So Job died, being old and full of days.

Even though Job was tested without cause, he learned through his testing! So often the greatest lessons, and the greatest spiritual growth come through our trials! I know this has been so true in my life! Like Job, we know about God, but in our trials, we experience first hand His strength and power!

We say as Job did, “I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth Thee.”

Will you maintain your integrity, no matter what comes your way; no matter what God allows? No matter who or what is removed from your life? Will you receive adversity as well as good and still worship Him through it? Will you say with Job — though He slay me, yet will I serve Him?

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others ? do not even the publicans so?

Why not rather take the wrong you have suffered than seek your own way? I understand these are hard words, but even so, we must choose to be obedient!

Beloved, again I remind us that this is only possible by His Spirit working in us, and through us!

During a particular difficulty, I asked the LORD how I could make it through! These were His Words to me — Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts! He said, You can’t do it child, Only My Spirit in you can! It is the same for any situation — only by His Spirit!

The Word of God says we are not to seek retribution for a wrong done to us! Retribution, or vengeance belongs to Him alone!

Proverbs 20:22
Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and He shall save thee.

Romans 12:17-21
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the LORD. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Paul tells the church at Corinth how he had to respond, and how they too must also respond in the face of persecution and abuse from men!

1 Corinthians 4:12-14
And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

He tells the church at Rome this!

Romans 12:14
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

LORD, search our hearts and show us our sins! Forgive us for responding in our flesh, and for lashing out with angry or hurtful words! Forgive us for seeking our own retribution for the wrongs done against us! Cleanse our hearts from all unrighteousness! Help us to submit to Your Word, and to Your Spirit, and take the wrongs done against us — knowing that You will see to the wrongdoers, in Jesus Name!

We are to rejoice in our suffering and trials! This is often the most difficult time to rejoice isn’t it, beloved! But, we can do so knowing that He has told us the purpose for our trials is for our good, and for His glory!

1 Peter 4:12-13
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 1:6-9
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in Whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Habakkuk 3:17-19
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places.

We are to rejoice with our brothers and sisters in Christ when they rejoice, and mourn with them, when they mourn!

Romans 12:15
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

We are to rejoice because Jesus went back to His Father, and He will return for His church!

John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved Me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for My Father is greater than I.

Revelation 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.

We are to speak about and rejoice at His wondrous works!

Psalm 105:1-5
O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon His Name: make known His deeds among the people. Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him: talk ye of all His wondrous works. Glory ye in His holy Name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and His strength: seek His face evermore. Remember His marvellous works that He hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth.

Again, Paul tells the church they are to rejoice evermore, or always, to pray always, and to give thanks always!

1 Thessalonians 5:14-22
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Beloved — Rejoice in the LORD! Sing praises to His Name!

Psalm 98:4-9
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together Before the LORD; for He cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall He judge the world, and the people with equity.

We can rejoice at all times; in the midst of our trials, because like Jesus — We look forward to the JOY set before us!

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; Who for the JOY that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Choose to REJOICE in the LORD today!

For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect Law of Liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Did you listen carefully to the Words James wrote, and as you listened did the Holy Spirit convict you in any area of your personal life?

Are you counting it all joy when you are walking through your trials?

Are you asking the LORD to give you wisdom, but not really believing He will? If so you will receive nothing from Him according to this Word!

Are you double minded, and wavering? Do you hear His Word, but instead of obeying it, make excuses for why you’re not doing so?

Are you rich in the LORD, even though you might be poor physically? Or are you rich by earthly standards, but your heart boasts in your wealth, and abundance, yet you are poor spiritually?

Are you learning patience and faith through your trials, or are you becoming bitter and resentful because of them? This Word says that if we endure our trials faithfully, we will receive the crown of life! This crown is only for those who love Him! And if you love Him — you will obey Him!

John 14:15
If ye love Me, keep My commandments.

So many say, I am a Christian, I love the LORD! But what do their fruits say? Do they bless the LORD, then turn and curse those around them?

James 3:8-11
But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Are you slow to speak, and slow to become angry? The Word in James says — man’s anger does not work God’s righteousness! It also says that we are not to be friends with an angry man!

Proverbs 22:24
Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go.

If we are only — Hearers of the Word, but don’t walk in obedience to His Word, what does this Word say? It says that that we are deceiving ourselves!

Are you bridling your tongue? Or are you speaking every thought that comes to your mind? What about your language? Does it glorify the LORD, or grieve Him? Do your words sound any different than those of people who aren’t Christians?

Our words and our language do matter to the LORD!

Ephesians 4:29-32
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Beloved — Are you unspotted from the world? To be unspotted means we are free from the sins of the world! We are walking in the fruits of the Spirit, found in Galatians 5! We are not regarding iniquity in our hearts!

LORD, search the heart of each person that reads these Words, may we submit to Your will in our lives! Show us the things in our lives that grieve You! May we confess these iniquities and turn from them! May we submit to Your Spirit and keep ourselves unspotted from the world, in Jesus Name!

Here’s what Job said in his trials!

Job 23:10-12
But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held His steps, His way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the Words of His mouth more than my necessary food.

David said this!

Psalm 66:10
For Thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

We go through many trials in life, but a great time of trial is coming on the entire earth! Hold fast the confession of your faith and you will receive the Crown of Life promised to Overcomers!

Daniel 12:10
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a Crown of Life.

If we finish the race of life well, we will receive our incorruptible Crown of Life!

Paul spoke these Words to the church at Corinth!

1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Paul spoke these Words to Timothy, His son in the LORD!

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a Crown of Righteousness, which the LORD, the Righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

When we receive our Crown — We will cast it at the feet of Jesus! I believe the elders in this scripture below are representative of all the saints of God!

Revelation 4:10-11
The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O LORD, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.

Beloved — Don’t let anyone take your Crown!

So many today are like the people in Noah’s day — focused on fulfilling all the desires of their own flesh, and they won’t realize what is coming until it is too late!

When God’s people speak His Word to warn, their words fall mostly on deaf ears! Their words seem foolish!

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Many will be deceived by their own foolish minds! They will wait a day too late to accept the salvation they’ve been offered!

1 Corinthians 3:18-20
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The LORD knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

We can only imagine how many stood at the door to the ark as the waters got higher and higher, begging to get inside — but it was too late!

Noah couldn’t open the door. To do so would allow the flood waters in! And beloved, God had shut the door!

Revelation 3:7
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He that is Holy, He that is True, He that hath the Key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.

He is patient, just like He was in Noah’s day — But there will come a day when His patience comes to an end, and the door will be closed for salvation!

2 Peter 3:9-10
The LORD is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Don’t be like these foolish and wicked people! I can’t imagine that the wickedness of Noah’s day was worse than what we see when we look around us today!

Will you heed the warning signs around you? Will you get in the Ark so to speak? Will you call upon the Nome of the LORD today for salvation?

Romans 10:9-13
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the LORD shall be saved.

Don’t wait a day too late, or a second too late!

She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Her beauty was found in her reverence and service to the LORD!

Do you see beloved — In serving others, we are serving Him!

Peter talks about beauty not being only outward!

1 Peter 3:3-4
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel. But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

What the Lord values is inside our hearts! He values a servants heart!

Our service will not end in this life! We see in John’s revelation we will still be serving Him in heaven!

Revelation 22:3
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him.

Will you choose to serve others today? Follow Jesus’ example! Be a servant, and a giver, put others before yourself! Do it joyfully as unto the LORD!

And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Are you in a storm today? Where will you find peace? There is only one sure place to look — To Him!

We are told difficult times will come, but we are also told He will keep us through those difficult times. He will give us everything we need!

He uses these storms we are in for His purposes! Nothing is happenstance for a child of God, and no trial is wasted!

When Jesus was crucified, the enemy rejoiced at his seeming victory! But, what the enemy saw as victory was God purchasing our salvation through His Son! It was God’s plan that Jesus die on the cross!

The enemies plan may seem to succeed for a time, but his success will be short lived!

After the cross — Death was swallowed up in victory!

1 Corinthians 15:55
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the LORD.

Peace — Be Still!

We know Who is in control! So, no matter what we encounter in the days ahead — no matter how much our boat is rocking, or how high the waves are that are crashing around us, no matter how dark the sky — Know this beloved — God is on His throne!

Don’t look at the storm — Look at Him! Hear His voice speaking to calm your heart with His Words — Peace be still — Fear not, I am with you!

Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I Am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Is Your Boat Rocking?

Mark 4:39-41
And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

Years ago someone sent me the song below. It’s called, Calmer of the Storm! Let’s read the lyrics.

Calmer Of The Storm!

“When everything is wrong, the day has passed and nothing's done. When the whole world seems against me; when I'm rolling in my bed, there's a storm in my head — I'm afraid of sinking in despair.

Teach me, LORD to have faith in what You're bringing me will change my life and bring You glory.

There on the storm, I am learning to let go of the will that I so long to control. There, may I be in Your arms eternally — I thank You, LORD — You are the Calmer of the Storm.

You rebuke the wind and the waves. Once again I find I'm amazed at the power of Your will; Cause I'm a child of little faith. I feel the wind and forget Your grace — And You say, "Peace, be still".

Oh, when the torment blows, the middle of the sea — May I never trust, never trust in me. Cause there in Your arms, I find no tragedy.

There on the storm, I am learning to let go. The white wave's high, it's crashing o'er the deck. And I don't know where I go. Where are you LORD, is this ship going down?

The mast is gone so throw the anchor. Should I jump and try to swim to land?

There on the storm, teach me God, to understand of the will that I just cannot control. There, may I see all your love protecting me. I thank You LORD — You are the Calmer of the Storm.”

Beloved, when do we need His peace? When everything in our lives, and in our world is going well? Or, when everything seems to be falling apart?

It is when the storm is raging, and it feels like our boat is sinking that we need His peace! It’s in the midst of the storm!

The disciples were in such a storm! Even though Jesus was in the boat with them, they were afraid. Do you know what Jesus was doing in the middle of this storm? He was fast asleep!

Matthew 8:24
And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but He was asleep.

The disciples awakened Him and asked Him to save them!

[25] And His disciples came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, LORD, save us: we perish.

[26] And He saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Beloved, if we really trust that the LORD is in control, we won’t be afraid in the storms we face!

If we believe His Word, and are focused on His promises to us, and His faithfulness to carry out those promises, we will not fear! We too can rest peacefully, though our boat is rocking violently!

If — We are focused on the LORD, and not on the storm!

In Mark’s account of this story the disciples asked Jesus if He cared about them!

Sometimes it feels like we’re all alone, and no one cares, but He is always with us, and He cares for us deeply! But, beloved child, He wants us to trust Him!

Mark 4:38
And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake Him, and say unto Him, Master, carest Thou not that we perish?

If Jesus is with us why are we so fearful?

[40] And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

He has been telling us each day — Fix your eyes on Me! If we don’t have our eyes on Him, our faith will be shaken and we will start to sink in the storm! But even then, in His mercy and grace, just as He did for Peter — He will lift us up!

Matthew 14:29-31
And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, He walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, LORD, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The servants said — let us remove these tares from among us! I know we ask the same of the LORD — Can’t you just show these people for who they really are, LORD, and remove them?

[27-28] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

Jesus told them, the tares were to be allowed to grow among the wheat until the harvest!

[29-30] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

The tares will be gathered first at the end of time, then His wheat!

We must ask the LORD each day to give us His wisdom and discernment! We must read His Word, and know it, so that we know the imposter; the counterfeit when he is shown! We must not be followers or respecters of men, lest we become blinded and are deceived!

The disciples asked Jesus to explain the parable of the wheat and tares to them. This is His explanation!

Matthew 13:37-43
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of Man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Father, give us discernment, and wisdom in these days of deception! May we walk closely with You LORD, filled with Your Spirit so that we’re not deceived by the enemy! May we live our lives to glorify You, and be found faithful to You when Jesus returns, is our prayer today, Father, in Jesus Name!

The Wheat And Tares Grow Together!

Our enemy is the most subtle of all! He will not come to us announcing his evil intentions, and neither will his servants!

Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

In order to deceive — the enemy will come masquerading as an angel of light!

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

How many tares are among us even now? How many are pretending to be someone they are not? It’s not possible to fully know — unless they slip and reveal their true nature and purposes!

The Word of God says that the wheat and tares will grow together to the end!

1 John 2:18-19
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Beloved, this is why we mention over and over to watch the fruits of the people who claim to be His closely — and not blindly follow any man!

Again, we know from the Word of God that the devil is the most subtle of all!

Will you consider this statement carefully before you say — “I will know, I won’t be deceived!”

Luke 21:8
And He said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

1 Corinthians 10:12
Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

The anti-Christ, false prophets, apostles, and teachers will deceive many! Why is that? Because they will attempt to counterfeit Christ!

The anti-Christ’s goal is to deceive not only the whole world — but most especially the people of God!

Beloved, we are living in the last days! The deception will get worse in the days to come!

These men will hold to their deception even when they stand before the LORD one day! But He will say to them — “Depart from Me, I never knew you.”

Matthew 7:22-23
Many will say to Me in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Thy Name? and in Thy Name have cast out devils? and in Thy Name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

You see beloved, these people were even doing their works using His Name — But they weren’t really His!

These tares have been sown among us while we were sleeping! Just like in this parable!

Matthew 13:24-25
Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

In time the tares in this parable were seen among the good fruit. Remember — by their fruits we will know them!

[26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

Matthew 7:13-20
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
