Augusta Tulush has been a WSE community member for a year now – since June 2018! When she had been looking for a way to practice her English, she stumbled upon out chat and YouTube channel – and eventually decided to stay. She draws a lot of inspiration from the community, and because of it decided to step out of the comfort zone and applied for Master's degree in Public Administration at Mongolia International University. She proves that nothing is an obstacle for self-improvement and growth – she is preparing to take IELTS in November! 💪🏻

Meet Danagul from Kazakhstan! She claims she found the right person at the right time, meaning me and the WSE YouTube channel 🙌🏻 She follows this study blog for several reasons, one of them - to continue learning English and getting prepared for IELTS. She appreciates that all materials and sources are credible at WSE. She also took part in the Rocket Speed IELTS Preparation course and found that the course was well-structured for people with limited time, which was essential as she was preparing for her final exams at school. She claims that WSE YouTube videos helped a lot, especially the map tutorial for listening, as the method turned out truly efficient for her. And of course - much motivation is what she drew from the community 💪🏻
Finally, the took IELTS and her results were enough to get admitted to a university in Spain! 🎉🇪🇸

This is Shahzod from Uzbekistan and he discovered my youtube channel a couple of months ago, right before starting his IELTS preparation. He claims it was was a blessing 😇, as the YouTube videos clearly explained every detail and section of IELTS. Our WSE community provided him very effective proven methods to master IELTS. Finally, he successfully got the overall band score 7.5, which I am very proud of! 🎉
Shahzod is forever grateful to the WSE community and particularly the educational videos. He also is an English teacher, and he needed to takeIELTS exam to upgrade his career and become an IELTS trainer in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In the future he would love to use it as an opportunity to get a Master's degree abroad 💪🏻

This is Ahmad from Syria. One year ago, he started preparing for the Academic IELTS. His goals were to get an IELTS score before graduation so that would give him a great advantage in the future. He also saw benefits in improving his English level in general.
Once he was browsing the Internet and stumbled upon our YouTube channel where he found video lessons that proved useful for prep. He reached out to contact me for clarification in some modules and was pleased with the fact it's so easy to communicate with an online trainer. Regarding the WSE community he made sure to benefit from members' experiences and established some frienships along the way 🤝
He has recently achieved 6.5 overall just in time before his graduation, so now he enjoys a significant advantage over his peers when it comes to applying for Master's degree! 🎓

This is Rito from India. He has always had the dream of working and settling abroad. IELTS was the first step towards this goal, however it was not easy to prepare. Let's start off from the fact that he has recently got a child in December (congratulations!). He also works as an Audiologist and Speech Therapist in his own clinic, which is a lot of responsibility.
So, having been simultaneously looking after the baby, the clinic job and working his way through IELTS preparation, Rito took the test in January 2020. He claims he hadn't slept for more than 3 hours since November! 😱
Rito stumbled upon my YouTube channel and found lots of helpful resources that made him more confident and well-prepared. When the results arrived, Reto was delighted to know that he achieved overall 7.5 band score! 🎉 He appreciates the WSE community as a helping hand for non-native speakers like him to realize their potential and achieve dreams abroad.

This is Najeeb. He is a Mechanical Engineer and a Researcher - quite a busy man with many responsibilities. So he didn't have much time for IELTS preparation. However, his example is for lots us to take - his determination allowed to first move abroad for Master's and then - for PhD!
His first uni abroad was in China (thanks to the full-funded scholarship that he received!) which he was able to get in because he scored 7.0 on IELTS Academic. After completing his Master's with distinction, he aimed at a US university to continue his PhD research. He improved his IELTS results and scored 7.5 this time, opening himself doors to the Griffith University of Auckland 🎉
Parallel to the IELTS prep, he also worked hard on the GRE test, which turned out much more difficult than IELTS 💪🏻
He is thankful to the WSE video lessons that helped him to get the required score in IELTS first attempt 👏🏻

Meet Monday Kennedy from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
He has longed to sit for the IELTS test since his university graduation, in order to continue the educational path overseas. Around March 2020 he got a call from the test centre that he had booked to take the test at on April 18th. Prior to that date he had not been preparing in any way, so he had barely 3 weeks to learn all the IELTS-required skills and try to successfully sit the test.
He began searching for any credible materials whatsoever to rely on and start the preparation. When looking for information about IELTS online, he saw a video on YouTube from me - being impressed by the quality and educational value he followed the WSE Community on Telegram and tried to implement all recommendations about IELTS 🚀
When it was just a week left until the test, it was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, Monday continued his preparation and rescheduled the test to June, 27. With the support from the WSE Community and the materials shared on the Telegram channel, he was able to perform very well at the test and got band score 7.0 overall for the IELTS Academic! 👏🏻
