Every token deployed is by default shown at the top of trading on mintme.com, so when you deploy your token, you not only pay for having your token on actual blockchain or allowing everyone to deposit & withdraw it from exchange but also for promoting it on trading page! Also, you remove paid MINTME from circulation because this amount doesn't go to us - it is frozen for 5 years for everyone! It means, each purchase is removing from circulation currently around ~130 000 MINTME. It will also mean that the more people pay for it, the more scarce MINTME becomes. I wanted to update you all with what we are working on. Version 1.1 released in May was in big part about stability and making sure we are out of Beta, although it still had lots of new features like token deployment, fully functional API, and many more. Version 1.2 is the first big version focused on features:
- donations (making us fully functional crowdfunding platform)
- paid posts visible only for users holding specific tokens
- airdrops for token owners (you will be able to give away your own tokens to your fans)
- ethereum support
- improved design
- avatars for both tokens and users
- nickname system. using them will be mandatory, providing real names will be optional, so trading can become even more transparent without loss of privacy.
- performance improvements
- simple % system to automatically rate your token, it will evolve in next releases
- lots and lots of small bugfixes

We plan to release it this year, but cannot be more specific yet.

You already know about what will be in 1.2 version but what about further goals?

We have decided to share a little more although most of our plans are still not public. We are currently designing DeFi functions. People will be able to send MINTME to any token creator and will get creator tokens back exchanged automatically. It means patrons won't even need to register anywhere (or share their personal data to anyone) to donate and get someone else tokens in return. They just send MINTME to a specific address and they get tokens in return. We would also allow them to access exclusive token creator materials in a decentralized way. This way patrons won't risk holding tokens on any centralized exchange. There is no expected date for those functions, but that's where we are going. Other than this - keep improving features for content creators.

Did you wonder what we are working on? Among many other things:
- each deployed coin will be automatically downloaded by our wallet so users won't need to manually add it anymore
- airdrops will be extended with additional feature - a need to do something for token creator before airdrop is received, we will check twitter, facebook, youtube, linkedin and even url to your token area on mintme. You might want to save your current airdrops for this feature so don't be too generous :)
- DMs - people holding tokens of token creator will be able to send them message via our service and then he will be able to reply back. For the beginning this will be the only way to open a conversation - person holding tokens can start conversation with token creator
- notifications - multiple notifications related to things that are happening, for example you hold a token of a creator that just deployed his token to the blockchain? you get informed. Your token creator posted something? you get informed etc. (2 ways - email or internal notification system)
- adding MINTME/Tether market
- widget integration so that you can purchase bitcoin/ethereum/tether using credit cards without leaving our page - this one is done already and will be released in next version, although it will work via partner widget on our page. So far it won't allow MINTME purchase but this should happen once our volume increases
- open API so that different websites like coingecko or one day coinmarketcap - can add us as tracked exchange and maybe tokens listed here one day will be added there too (Please don't keep your hopes high for this happening fast because even though we have high chances to be listed on CMC as tracked exchange, tokens listed here have too low volume to be listed on CMC, although on other sites like coingecko - probably yes )

We would like to remind you that you are the only person responsible for marketing your project on mintme.com. If your plan is to make token and hope that MintMe community will invest in it, then you misunderstand purpose of MintMe. Treat us as web hosting. You don't expect web hosting to market your page but to just provide you tools to keep it. You have to bring people to your token page from outside of MintMe - not from inside. If you actively don't send links to your token page on social media, forums and everywhere else on daily basis or you don't have some other smart marketing plan (like building a game that will spread or anything else) - then your token won't allow you to earn.
