Clown show on steroids again:

China will face consequences if it should deepen relations with Russia, according to the Pentagon.
Ridiculous seeing too many westerners endlessly quoting about how China is collapsing whilst failing to ask themselves why US spends every day of every year trying to convince world that they should abandon China because it seeks to spread its authoritarian regime globally.
Too many westerners tend to believe China can only succeed if they do precisely what is now causing the US to collapse.

Meanwhile Beijing has other ideas.
US House Oversight Committee has asked the Department of Defence and the State Department to account for the $113bn, thus far allocated to assist Ukraine.
Clown show continues:

Because US still can't accept that Russia is capable of producing its own munitions it then concludes that now China must be providing such assistance.

It is what happens when you invent your own reality. You end up bamboozling yourself.
Illusion continues to give way to reality:

German Food CPI rose 20.2% yoy in January.
The usual suspects in the US were talking about seeking to implement regime change in China back in the mid 90s.
Increasingly appears that key sectors in the US economy should include buildings construction, fire retardant materials and railroad construction.

Meanwhile they continue to spend $800bn a year on defence and incredibly Americans don't have an issue with this.
Expectation that Xi will make a statement regarding Ukraine war, likely on the anniversary of the war, tomorrow.
Possible that Xi may also outline a new international order tomorrow.

Let see what actually transpires.
Ukraine is fortifying their side of the border with Belarus.
As we expected and stated yesterday, China's statement on Ukraine was made today on the first anniversary of the war commencing. But will the nuance and subtlety be lost on the west?

Clown show continues:

Austin said that the Pentagon is now considering options for transferring Abrams tanks to Kiev, but they will not arrive in Ukraine until next year.
Poland is apparently sending Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine today.

Despite all the rhetoric it's tokenism and not an escalation as some like to suggest.
Measured Europe:

Macron and Scholz have advised Zelensky to start negotiations with Russia.

Clown show Europe:

London, Berlin and Paris are considering implementing a defence agreement between Ukraine and NATO after the end of the war.
Increasing noises coming out of the West about damage limitation wrt Ukraine.
At the invitation of Xi, Lukashenko will pay a state visit to China from February 28th to March 2nd.
China continues to diversify its trading partners:

China-Laos Railway has seen a 500% yoy increase in cargo volumes in early 2023.
