West's seismic error of judgement was to assume because Russia didn't scorch earth Ukraine on Feb 24th 2022, that they lacked military capability to do so. Hence then erroneously believing Russia's failure to take Kiev in 3 days meant they definitely lacked military capability

Now we find NATO nations are running low on ammunition and military hardware to send to Ukraine and the West is admitting that Russia is running multiple factories 24/7 producing huge quantities of ammunition and military hardware.
