There is nothing more ridiculous than seeing comments about how China and Russia are really enemies.

It displays a level of ignorance that is frankly embarrassing.

Russia and China will conduct naval drills from December 21st to 27th.
UK strike action continues:

A clear symptom of a cost of living crisis, coupled with the ongoing concerns about energy and potential blackouts.

The fear in western govts is palpable.
As we enter year end we are seeing relatively large numbers of US manufacturing jobs being lost. The myth of a strong US economy continues.
Appears there is further progress being made in rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Iran. They must guard against attempts by the US to derail this process.

US still winning:

Despute the fact that 9 EU nations including Germany disagreed with the Russian gas price cap they failed to get enough support to block the proposal.

Death by a 1000 cuts continues.
Closet right is slowly revealing itself as being saviours of west. Only they make up most of what they claim to be standing against and if they were to have representation in western govts, they would seek to have maximum control themselves, Don't get seduced by their faux charm.
Current political establishment in west is an absymal failure. Reps or Dems, Cons or Lab etc etc are not answer. They deliver nothing when in office. What they do achieve is to create endless amounts of meaningless debate about who is better and divide/conquer people in process.
Who will be the next head ofTwitter and who will be the upcoming Republican Presidential Candidate might have been determined at the WC final.
This is why the BoJ raised the cap on their 10 year to 0.5%

As ever it's not what happens today that matters, it is the broader term implications.

Reality strikes again:

Major General Ruprecht von Butler of Bundeswehr admitted that during an exercise this month to prepare a tank brigade for inclusion in NATO’s high readiness response force, all 18 of modern German infantry fighting vehicles failed.
