Updated CPF Retirement Sums for 2025

๐Ÿ”น Basic Retirement Sum (BRS): $106,500
๐Ÿ”น Full Retirement Sum (FRS): $213,000
๐Ÿ”น Enhanced Retirement Sum (ERS): $426,000

These sums determine your monthly payouts during retirement. If youโ€™re turning 55 in 2025, make sure your CPF Retirement Account reflects these figures.

CPF Contribution Changes

๐Ÿ”น Monthly Salary Ceiling: Increased to $7,400 from 1 January 2025.
๐Ÿ”น Higher CPF Contributions for Seniors: Workers aged 55 to 70 will see contribution rates increase by up to 1.5%, helping you build more savings as you continue working.

Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS)

If youโ€™ve maxed out your CPF contributions, consider the SRS:

CPF LIFE Payouts for 2025

For those turning 65 in 2025, CPF LIFE payouts are estimated at $2,500 to $2,700 per month if youโ€™ve set aside the Full Retirement Sum at 55.

Retirement and Re-Employment Age

๐Ÿ”น Re-Employment Age: 68 (increasing to 69 in 2026).

In 2024, the life insurance industry paid $18.1 billion to policyholders and beneficiaries, up 33.4 per cent compared with 2023. Most of this amount was for policies that had matured, while $1.9 billion was for death, total and permanent disability as well as critical illness claims.
