Competition on International Law - "Dispute resolution in the Eurasian Economic Union - 2023"

The competition "Dispute Resolution in the EAEU" is a unique educational platform that allows future specialists in the field of jurisprudence to study the process of dispute resolution within the EAEU in the format of moot court (modeling a trial).

The purpose of this competition is to form a new generation of highly qualified specialists in the field of international law in the EAEU countries who are able to represent the interests of both states and participants in the business communities of their countries in international jurisdictional bodies.

The topics of the competitive "Patent Case" of 2023 are: the competence of the EAEU Court, regulation of intellectual property protection, pairing the EAEU with other international organizations, cancellation of arbitration decisions, interim measures of the international court.

During consecutive two years of my bachelor studies, I have, along with my peers, participated in International Moot Court Competitions. The content of moots ranged from international investment, trade law to commercial arbitration. Although we could not shine in stages of triumph, we, sometimes introduced not only our university, but the country Uzbekistan also.

Among them, upon my deep research, I managed to discover two new moot courts from Germany and Australia:

Tips on how to write essays for the 1st round of the FLEX program.

1. Never ever copy someone else's essay. Your round 1 essays are very personal, and you are the only one who can describe yourself and your experiences properly

2. Don't rush to finish all 3 essays in just a few days. You will be given 10 days to write them all. Make sure you are describing the exact personality they are seeking from you. For that, you need to think about your past experiences, which may take some time.

3. Try to pick those experiences from your life, where you showed yourself more as a leader. The first personality they look at is your leadership abilities.

4. Don't say it directly, but mention somewhere in your essays that you are adaptable to new environment. It's also important for the admissions committee to know that you won't feel bad in a totally new country for you with no friends around.

O'zbekistonda ishga kirishimda "otdel kadr" IELTS sertifikatimni ko'rib bu nima deb so'radi. Men sertifikat deb javob berdim. Qayerdan olding dedi. Britaniya Konsulligidan dedim. U esa keyin nimaga Britaniya Konsulligi senga sertifikat beradi deb shubhalanib tekshiruv yubordi. Sertifikatni rasmga olib kimlargadir jo'natib, telefon qilib nima bu, xavfli emasmi deb so'radi. Men esa IELTS haqida eshitmagan kadrlar menejerini ko'rib shokka tushib qoldim. Haqiqiy shok!

Do‘st tutinmoq bayoni haqida

Bilgil, ey farzandi arjumandim, inson modomiki tirik ekan, do‘stlardan qochmaydi. Chunki do‘stsiz bo‘lgandan ko‘ra, aka-ukasiz bo‘lgan afzaldir, derlar. Darhaqiqat, bir donishmanddan: “Aka-uka yaxshimi yoki do‘stmi?”, - deya so‘ralganida, Donishmand javoban: “Aka-ukaning ham do‘st bo‘lgani yaxshi” debdi.

Shunday ekan, do‘stlik rishtalarini qanday asrash haqida o‘yla. Do‘stga qanday munosabatda bo‘lishni o‘rgan. Chunki kim o‘z do‘stlarining ishi bilan qiziqsa, do‘stlari ham uning ishiga qiziqadi. Agar u parvo qilmasa, do‘stlar ham parvo qilmaydi. Binobarin, do‘stining ishiga befarq bo‘lgan odamga hech kim do‘st bo‘lmaydi.
So‘ngra har vaqt do‘st orttirishni odat qilki, do‘stlaring ko‘p bo‘lsin. Chunki ko‘p do‘stlar orasida insonning ayblari yashiriladi, mahorati, fazilati oshkor bo‘ladi. Ammo yangi do‘st topganingda eski do‘stlaringdan zinhor yuz o‘girma.

Sen bilan do‘stligi chala-yarim, xo‘jako‘rsinga bo‘lgan do‘stdan saqlan. Agar shunday do‘stligi yo‘q odamlarga duch kelsang, ularga yuzaki do‘stlik ko‘rsat, doimo yaxshilik qil, ularning fe’l-atvoriga qarab ish tut. Yaxshi yoki yomon kunlaringda ularga hamroh bo‘l. Ular sendan yaxshilik ko‘rsalar, bu safar balki sen bilan chin dildan do‘st tutinar.
