I'm pleasantly surprised by how delicious vegetarian food can be, almost rivaling meat-based dishes. D'Life vegetarian restaurant in Orchard offers very reasonable pricing, consider it a central area, making it even more beneficial to eat there healthy and affordable.

If you love Indonesian food and looking for a place in the central area to enjoy a good meal, I would recommend Dupur Penyet. It's located in a quiet corner of Centrepoint, and the dishes are very authentic and delicious. There are lots of spices in the dishes, so remember to order a drink to pair with them. I had chendol, which felt very Indonesian when enjoyed together with these dishes.

Opted for a quick lunch at Tun Xiang Hokkien Delights. I noticed the promo for Kurobuta Char Siew at $12.90 but ended up ordering the White Pepper Collagen Pig Stomach Soup 胶原胡椒猪肚汤 because the food menu looked too good to resist. The taste was average, but the portion was generous, suitable for sharing between two people.

Group Therapy, a cafe conveniently located and spacious cafe, they serve impressive array of dishes that not only looked visually appealing but also promised hearty flavors. One standout was the cream of truffle mushroom soup, which was uniquely served in Singapore's traditional bowl, adding an unexpected and intriguing touch to the dining experience.

Hey BBT lovers, there's an exciting new seasonal drink collaboration between Playmade X Supergoop. I tried it at Jurong West Gate, right across from the Sephora featuring Supergoop sunscreen. I got the Yuzu Milk Tea with 50% sugar, and it has a slightly bitter zest from the yuzu flavor. It's a great option for those who enjoy beverages with less sweetness.

I was recommended Saveur Bistro for its French cuisine. I enjoyed Noix St Jacques—lightly cooked Japanese scallops with dill cream and fresh grapes for the starter, followed by Poisson du Jour—pan-seared barramundi with parsnip puree, Thai-style emulsion, and wilted spinach for the main course. For dessert, I savoured Madagascar Vanilla Crème Brûlée served with fresh berries. There are also other dishes on the table that are in my photos. The food was exceptionally satisfying, and as a Creme Brulee lover, I appreciated the perfect thickness of the caramelized top layer.

Nestled in a quaint corner just outside West Coast Plaza, Overscoop exudes a charming coziness. The Acai overbowl is a visual treat, served in a half coconut husk with a decorative coconut tree stick, adding to the overall appeal of the place.

I randomly found Kim Keat Palm Market & Food Centre and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of unique stalls it offers. Among my favourites are stall #01-48, which offers a delightful mix of porridge and Chee Cheong Fun. Although I didn't get a chance to try the Chee Cheong Fun, the assortment of ingredients looked incredibly tempting and creative. Another highlight was the old-school dessert stall near the Chee Cheong Fun stall, which boasts a wide array of choices. Plus, it's the cheapest Durian Ice Kacang I ever had in Singapore, priced at only $1.80!
