The noodles were smooth but not a total slay. Still, if you love old-school flavors at a fair price, it’s worth the wait. The tender mushrooms and fresh fish paste in the fish balls were a nice touch—at least they weren’t just overpriced flour balls!

I stumbled upon Souper Star unique menu, especially their different flavours popiah, which caught my attention. I decided to give it a try and ended up ordering the sesame chicken set with a side of clam chowder.
