#TBT 2017 Riverdale vs Oakland Alumni Football game

I had this great idea to play in a full contact, officiated & capacity crowd alumni game on my 36th birthday. There were kids in their early 20s, just finishing up college or semi-pro etc. The relationships & memories made in the 3 months of practice leading up to the game will last me the rest of my days.

I won't lie - toastin' a 26 yr old on a fade route to the endzone for a practice-ending TD was one of the best feelings I had in a long time competitively. The kids were raggin' him hard for getting burnt by one of the old guys. And those youngins' learned a few things - We all get old, We all hold on to our athletics as long as We can, and most importantly - never underestimate your elder 😉

This catch was for a 1st down in the game. I thought the VHS filter was fitting for a 1999 graduate
