I just added Ronaldinho Coin to Rocketfan. Honest opinion about it: I think it is great to see it having a successful launch, the SportFi market was rather quiet over the last few months and this token has been a success on its first day with a trading volume of over 40 million USD. However, only a fraction of the supply is circulating at the moment (9%) and already 35% is unlocked. Expect the people behind it to distribute the token, I think an FDV of over 200 million USD could be a point where whoever is receiving tokens might want to take profits. So, overall great for SportFi but trade with caution.

The 2022 World Cup was probably the most active football web3 has ever been. We had tremendous interest in fan tokens, a huge amount of NFT collections launched, many crypto x sports partnerships. So, it is not surprising to see SportFi partnerships already lining up for the next World Cup. If the FIFA launches its own coin as the biggest football organization, that sets an example for other football brands to launch web3 products as well. I think WC 2026 could be another huge push for SportFi.
