With hope in the Resurrection:

Archpriest John Weir reposed in the Lord on 24 June 2025.

Fr John served as a clergyman in Brisbane for 20 years. Most notably for our parish, Fr John served as our Rector during 2009-10, leading the reinvigoration of our parish.

We extend our condolences to his family, and we pray that he be vouchsafed the Heavenly Kingdom.

Memory Eternal! ☦️

This photo of Fr John was taken at the first Liturgy for our churches re-opening in 2009.
