IELTS tests for UK Visa and Immigration
On 20 February 2015, the UK government announced important changes to Secure English Language Tests (SELT) for visa purposes.
If you make a visa application to stay or move to the UK, you need to be aware of changes made by United Kingdom Visas and Immigration (UKVI).
What are the changes?
If you are going to or staying in the UK, there is an IELTS test for you.
In addition to the IELTS General Training and IELTS Academic tests, which you may already know of, a new test called IELTS Life Skills has been introduced.
IELTS Life Skills is the test for people who need to prove their speaking and listening skills at Levels A1 or B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This will be a single test covering speaking and listening skills.

🔴 کاهش نمره رایتینگ و دردسر حروف اضافه!
حروف اضافه یکی از چالش برانگیزترین مباحث چه در رایتینگ و چه در اسپیکینگ برای شرکت کنندگان آزمون آیلتس به حساب می‌آید. اشکالات در حروف اضافه عموما به دلیل ترجمه مستقیم از زبان مادری وارد زبان انگلیسی میشود.
▪️برای رفع این مشکل یکی از بهترین راه حل‌ها می‌تواند مطالعه متون و گوش کردن مکرر به native speaker ها باشد.
⚠️هرگاه به کلمه یا ترکیب جدیدی برخورد می‌کنید آن را همراه با حرف اضافه صحیح در دفترچه‌ای یادداشت نموده و بارها مرور کنید.

🔴 املای British یا American؟
کدام‌یک مورد قبول است؟!
● همان‌طور که می‌دانید بعضی کلمات در انگلیسی بریتانیایی و آمریکایی رسم الخط متفاوتی دارند، مانند: center/centre و neighbor/neighbour
● در لیسنینگ کدام املا مورد قبول است؟
هر دو رسم الخط در هر حال کاملا پذیرفته است و مطلقا ارتباطی بین املای مورد قبول و لهجه‌ی گوینده وجود ندارد.
● در ریدینگ بهترین کار این است که عین کلمه از متن انتخاب شود و در پاسخنامه وارد شود. اما حتی اگر به عنوان مثال کلمه centre در متن با املای بریتانیایی نوشته شده باشد و شما بر حسب عادت در پاسخنامه center یعنی املای درست آمریکایی را وارد نمائید، امتیاز سوال را کسب می‌کنید.
● آیا می‌توانم synonym یا معادل پاسخ سوال را در لیسنینگ/ریدینگ وارد کنم؟ (مثلا film به جای movie)

🔴 چطور درس بخوانیم؟؟
توصیه اساتید برای ثبت vocab و idea
اولین گام درست در مسیر آمادگی برای امتحان آیلتس، بالا بردن کیفیت مطالعه است. منتظر معجزه نباشید. یادگیری هر زبانی نیازمند وقت و انرژی است.
🔵 مهمترین قانون درس خواندن چیست؟
✅- نظم نظم نظم -✅
دفتری تهیه کنید و آن را به مرور زمان موضوع بندی کنید.
▪️ برای مثال: The environment
شما در این بخش هر کالوکیشن ، فعل دو قسمتی، ایده و... را که مرتبط با موضوع است یادداشت می کنید.
اما نکته مهم این است که ثبت مطالب نظم داشته باشد. مثلا:
The environment
▫️Environmental problems
▫️Causes of environmental problems
▫️Solutions to environmental problems
▫️Effects of environmental problems
و برای هر مورد idea هایی را که فرا می گیرید به صورت key word/phrase یادداشت کنید. به مرور زمان شما دفتری پر از ایده با language خیلی عالی خواهید داشت و بهانه” من درباره این موضوع ایده ندارم” از بین خواهد رفت. این دفتر برای writing و speaking می‌تواند کمک حال شما باشد.
🔵 نکته دوم: Be color-coded
برای هر نکته از رنگ متفاوت استفاده کنید. تاثیر رنگ ها در یادگیری تصویری را دست کم نگیرید.
▪️مثلا:
Phrasal verb >> Purple
Collocation >> orange
Grammar >> red
Prepositions >> green
سبک خود را پیدا کنید و مناسب با آن درس بخوانید.
▪️این نظم در درس خواندن efficiency شما را در یادگیری بالا می برد و احتمال فراموشی مطالب آموخته شده را بسیار کاهش می‌دهد.

📌آزمون آیلتس در جریان یک تغییر قابل توجه و بزرگ،امکان آزمون تک مهارتی را برای متقاضیان برقرار کرد.
عنوان این نوع آزمون IELTS one skill retake است.
📣البته این تغییر فعلا در کشورهای استرالیا،هند،فیلیپین و کامبوج اجرا شده است.
امیدواریم این تغییر به زودی در کشورمان نیز اعمال شود.
