Great blog post from Prof. Martyn Cobourne: https://kevinobrienorthoblog.com/managing-patients-with-chronic-pain-from-temporomandibular-disorders/
“Interestingly, conditional recommendations were made against the use of reversible occlusal splints (alone or with anything else), arthrocentesis (alone or with anything else), cartilage supplement, low-level laser therapy, nerve stimulation, botulinin toxin injection, hyaluronic acid injection, corticosteroids, benzodiazepines and beta-blockers. These therapies could be considered if no others are suitable.”

I guess there could be no better introduction to our next event with Dr. Charles Greene and Dr. Sanj Kandasami than this recent 14-min-long video by Dr. Jeffrey Okeson: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sqJVZgTE16w
Following our today's discussion, here is a nice article on osteoma: https://www.mdpi.com/2077-0383/10/23/5584
Highlights:
"Histologically, an osteoma is represented as a mass of abnormal dense bone"
"Asymptomatic osteomas do not usually require surgery, but rather a “wait and see” strategy based on clinical and radiological follow-up"
