Last night I spent 20 minutes trying to get through to the commenters under a Centrist video. What I discovered - again - is that they are not only thick but stunningly incurious. They simply have no interest in learning, even about the very topic that they are presently discussing. In fact, they actually seem to enjoy the "ritual" of smugly saying the same things over and over again. It's like in T2 where Arnold's CPU is set to read-only mode. Eventually I gave up and resorted to just posting inane or sarcastic comments like the one above. If you can't beat the boilerplate platitudes, you might as well join 'em.
