Language in Tara
1. Dattani has used other Indian Languages like Kannada and bambaiya hindi in the play Tara
2. He's managed to individiate characters by the English they speak-
Roopa's lack of control over both English and Kannada. Her malapropism provides humour to the play.
Dr. Thakkar's formal public speech English
Chandan and Tara's good command over the language
3. All the humour in this play is linguistic
4. Eng spoken in this play marks it as a play about the middle class and also the upper class
