Tonight's supper: We will call it pasta casserole for posterity's sake. It's really just a garbage casserole or leftover casserole. I throw whatever needs to be used up in this meal.

Casseroles are pretty basic. You need meat, vegetables, pasta, and/or something to hold it together. Pasta sauce and condensed cream soups are the usual binders.

Tonight's meal consisted of an opened 3/4 pound box of rotini, 1 pound of venison (2019), leftover veggies from a meal out, 1 partial jar of pizza sauce, 1 partial jar of marinara, and shredded pizza cheese. Brown the meat, cook the pasta, drain, and combine the two. Add sauce and veggies and mix well. Add cheese on top and cook for 20 minutes at 400 degrees F.

I didn't really think about this before I started the #pantrychallengereimagined that I only cook 3-4 times a week. We eat leftovers on the other nights.
