Saddened to learn of Pope Francis’ passing today. Throughout his papacy, Pope Francis showed himself to be a progressive on many social issues. He engaged representatives of other religions, and pushed consistently for interreligious dialogue.

Today, SM Teo Chee Hean and DPM Heng Swee Keat announced they will step down from politics. They have been inspiring mentors and role models to their younger colleagues.
