A young man asked Socrates the secret of success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next morning. They met. Socrates asked the young man to walk with him into the river. When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and swiftly ducked him into the water.
The boy struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until the boy started turning blue. Socrates pulled the boy’s head out of the water and the first thing the young man did was to gasp and take a deep breath of air.
Socrates asked him, "what did you want the most when you were there?" The boy replied, "Air". Socrates said, "That is the secret of success! When you want success as badly as you wanted the air, then you will get it!" There is no other secret.

مرد جوانی از سقراط رمز موفقیت را پرسید که چیست. سقراط به مرد جوان گفت که صبح روز بعد به نزدیکی رودخانه بیاید. هر دو حاضر شدند. سقراط از مرد جوان خواست که همراه او وارد رودخانه شود. وقتی وارد رودخانه شدند و آب به زیر گردنشان رسید سقراط با زیر آب بردن سر مرد جوان، او را شگفت زده کرد.
مرد تلاش می کرد تا خود را رها کند اما سقراط قوی تر بود و او را تا زمانی که رنگ صورتش کبود شد محکم نگاه داشت. سقراط سر مرد جوان را از آب خارج کرد و اولین کاری که مرد جوان انجام داد کشیدن یک نفس عمیق بود.
سقراط از او پرسید، " در آن وضعیت تنها چیزی که می خواستی چه بود؟" پسر جواب داد: "هوا"
سقراط گفت:" این راز موفقیت است! اگر همانطور که هوا را می خواستی در جستجوی موفقیت هم باشی بدستش خواهی آورد" رمز دیگری نیست.

🦋 A man checked into a hotel. There was a computer in his room so he decided to send an e-mail to his wife. However he accidentally typed a wrong e-mail address and without realizing his error he sent the e-mail.
Meanwhile….Somewhere in Houston a widow had just returned from her husband’s funeral. The widow decided to check her e-mail expecting condolence messages from relatives and friends.After reading the first message she fainted. The widow’s son rushed into the room found his mother on the floor and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I’ve Reached

I know you’re surprised to hear from me. They have computers here and we are allowed to send e-mails to loved ones. I’ve just reached and have been checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you TOMORROW!

عشق و زمان
Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
روزی روزگاری، جزیره ای بود که تمام احساسات در آنجا زندگی می کردند. شادی ، غم ، دانش و همچنین سایر احساسات مانند عشق. یک روز به احساسات اعلام شد که جزیره غرق خواهد شد. بنابراین همگی قایق هایی را ساختند و آنجا را ترک کردند. بجز عشق.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
عشق تنها حسی بود که باقی ماند. عشق خواست تا آخرین لحظه ممکن مقاومت کند. وقتی جزیزه تقریبا غرق شده بود، عشق تصمیم گرفت تا کمک بخواهد
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
ثروت در قایقی مجلل در حال عبور از کنار عشق بود
عشق گفت: می توانی من را هم با خود ببری؟
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
ثروت جواب داد: در قایقم طلا و نقره زیادی هست و جایی برای تو وجود ندارد
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered
عشق تصمیم گرفت از غرور، که او هم سوار بر کشتی زیبایی از کنارش در حال عبور بود در خواست کمک کند
-"غرور، لطفا کمکم کن"
غرور جواب داد:"عشق، من نمی توانم کمکت کنم . تو خیس هستی و ممکن است به قایقم آسیب برسانی"
Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"
غم نزدیک بود ، بنابراین عشق در خواست کمک کرد،" اجازه بده همراهت بیایم"
غم جواب داد:" اه...عشق من خیلی غمگینم و نیاز دارم تنها باشم"
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
شادی هم از کنار عشق گذشت و بقدری شاد بود که حتی صدای در خواست عشق را نشنید
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
ناگهان صدایی به گوش رسید،" بیا عشق، من تو را همراه خود خواهم برد" صدا، صدای پیری بود. عشق درود فرستاد و به حدی خوشحال شد که فراموش کرد مقصدشان را بپرسد. وقتی به خشکی رسیدند، پیری راه خودش را در پیش گرفت.عشق با علم به اینکه چه قدر مدیون پیریست از دانش که مسنی دیگر بود پرسید: "چه کسی نجاتم داد؟ "
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is.
دانش جواب داد:" زمان بود
عشق پرسید:" زمان؟ اما چرا نجاتم داد؟

Fred was a young soldier in a big camp. During the week they always worked very hard, but it
was Saturday, and all the young soldiers were free, so their officer said to them, 'You can go into
the town this afternoon, but first I'm going to inspect you.’
Fred came to the officer, and the officer said to him, 'Your hair's very long. Go to the barber and
then come back to me again.
Fred ran to the barber's shop, but it was closed because it was Saturday. Fred was very sad for a
few minutes, but then he smiled and went back to the officer.
'Are my boots clean now, sir?' he asked.
The officer did not look at Fred's hair. He looked at his boots and said, 'Yes, they're much better
now. You can go out. And next week, first clean your boots, and then come to me!'

Fred came to the officer, and the officer said to him, 'Your hair's very long. Go to the barber and
then come back to me again.
Fred ran to the barber's shop, but it was closed because it was Saturday. Fred was very sad for a

A farm boy accidentally overturned his wagonload of corn in the road. The farmer who lived nearby came to see what had happened. "Hey boy ", he called out, "forget your trouble for a moment and come on in and have dinner with us. Then I will help you get the wagon up." " that is very nice of you", the boy answered , "But I don't think Pa would like me to do it."
"Oh, come on, son," the farmer insisted. "Well, okay, " the boy finally agreed. "But pa won't like it." After a hearty dinner, the boy thanked his host. "I feel a lot better now, but I know pa is going to be upset." " I don't think so," said the neighbor. "By the way, where is your pa?" " He is under the wagon."

پسر روستایی واگن پر از ذرت خود را در جاده سرنگون کرد. کشاورزی که در آن نزدیکی زندگی می کرد ، آمده بود تا ببیند چه اتفاقی افتاده. او با صدای بلند گفت : آهای پسر ، ناراحتی هایت را فراموش کن و به خانه ما بیا و شام را با ما صرف کن. بعد من کمک می کنم که واگن را راست کنی. پسر جواب داد: شما خیلی لطف دارید ، ولی فکر نمی کنم بابام بخواهد من این کار را بکنم.
کشاورز با اصرار گفت : آه بیا برویم پسرم. بالاخره پسر موافقت کرد و گفت: بسیار خوب ، باشد ، ولی بابام دوست ندارد. بعد از شام صمیمانه ، پسر از میزبانش تشکر کرد و گفت : حالا حالم خیلی بهتر شده ، اما می دانم بابام واقعا عصبانی خواهد شد. همسایه گفت : من فکر نمی کنم ، راستی بابات کجاست؟ " او زیر واگن است."
