🟢داستان کوتاه
Every year
Joe Richards finished school when he was 18, and then his father said to him. 'You've passed your examinations now, Joe, and you got good marks in them. Now go and get some good work. They're looking_for the clever people at the bank in the town. The clerks there get quite a lot of money now.'
A few days later, Joe went to the bank and asked_for work there.
A man took him into a small room and gave him some questions on a piece of paper. Joe wrote his answers on the paper, and then he gave them to the man.
The man looked at them for a few minutes, and then he took a pen and said to Joe, 'your birthday was on the 12th of June, Mr. Richards?'
'Yes, sir, 'Joe said.
'What year?' the man asked.
Joe said : 'Oh, every year, sir.'
Pass = پاس کردن
Mark = نمره
Look_For = دنبال.. گشتن
Clever = زیرک
Clerk = کارمند بانک
Quite = نسبتا زیاد
Ask_For = درخواست کردن

How Dave visited a doctor
When Dave Perkins was young, he played a lot of games, and he was thin and strong, but when he was forty-five, he began to get fat and slow. He was not able to breathe as well as before, and when he walked rather fast, his heart beat painfully.
He did not do anything about this for a long time, but finally, he became anxious and went to see a doctor, and the doctor sent him to hospital.
Another young doctor examined him there and said, ‘I don’t want to mislead you, Mr Perkins. You’re very ill, and I believe that you are unlikely to live much longer.
Would you like me to arrange for anybody to come and see you before you die?’ Dave thought for a few seconds and then he answered, ‘Yes, I’d like another doctor to come and see me.’

🟩The magic paintbrush
Rose loved drawing. She was very poor and didn’t have pens or pencils. She drew pictures in the sand with sticks.One day, an old woman saw Rose and said, ‘Hello! Here’s a paintbrush and some paper for you.’
‘Thank you!’ smiled Rose.
She was so happy.
‘Hmmm, what can I paint?’ she thought.
She looked around and saw a duck on the pond.
‘I know! I’ll paint a duck!’
So she did. Suddenly, the duck flew off the paper and onto the pond.
‘Wow!’ she said. ‘A magic paintbrush!’
Rose was a very kind girl and she painted pictures for everyone in her village.
She painted a cow for the farmer, pencils for the teacher and toys for all the children.
The king heard about the magic paintbrush and sent a soldier to find Rose.
‘Come with me,’ said the soldier. ‘The king wants you to paint some money for him.’
‘But he’s already rich,’ said Rose.
‘I only paint to help poor people.’
But the nasty soldier took Rose to the king.
‘Paint me a tree with lots of money on it,’ he shouted.
Rose was brave and said, ‘No!’
So the king sent her to prison.
But Rose painted a key for the door and a horse to help her escape.
The king chased after her.
So she painted a big hole, and splat!
The king fell in.
Today, Rose only uses her magic paintbrush to help people who really, really need help.
قلم موی سحرآمیز
🟢رز عاشق نقاشی بود. او خیلی فقیر بود و هیچ خودکار و مدادی نداشت.
او با چوب روی ماسه نقاشی می کشید.
روزی از روزها پیرزنی رز را دید و گفت: «سلام! بیا این قلم مو و کاغذها رو بگیر. مال تو.»
رز با لبخندی گفت: «خیلی ممنون!»
رز خیلی خوشحال بود.
با خود فکر کرد: «بذار ببینم، چی بکشم؟»
اطراف را نگاه کرد و اردکی را در برکه دید.
«فهمیدم! یه اردک می کشم!»
همین کار را کرد. ناگهان اردک از کاغذ به بیرون پرید و به سمت برکه پرواز کرد.
او گفت: «وای! این قلم مو سحرآمیزه!»
رز دختر خیلی مهربانی بود و برای همهی اهالی روستایش نقاشی کشید.
او برای کشاورز گاوی نقاشی کرد و برای معلم مداد و برای همه بچه ها اسباب بازی کشید.
پادشاه از قلم موی سحرآمیز با خبر شد و سربازی فرستاد تا رز را پیدا کند.
سرباز گفت: «با من بیا. پادشاه می خواد براش مقداری پول نقاشی کنی.»
رز گفت: «ولی اون که ثروتمنده.»
«من فقط واسه آدمای فقیر نقاشی می کشم.»
اما سرباز بدجنس رز را پیش پادشاه برد.
او داد زد: «برای من درختی بکش که رو شاخه هاش پر از پول باشه.»
رز شجاع بود و گفت: «نه!»
به همین خاطر پادشاه او را زندانی کرد.
اما رز یک کلید برای باز کردن در و یک اسب برای فرار کردن از آنجا نقاشی کرد.
پاشاه او را تعقیب کرد.
رز هم چاله بزرگی کشید و تالاپ!
پادشاه در چاله افتاد.
حالا رز فقط از قلم موی سحرآمیز برای کمک به آدمهایی استفاده می کند که خیلی خیلی به کمک نیاز دارند.
