Two new countries on the IBU cooperation map: Cooperation agreements signed with Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in Kazakhstan and Biliran Province State University in Philippines ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ค๐ต๐ญ
International Balkan University has expanded its cooperation map by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with two prestigious universities: Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in Kazakhstan and Biliran Province State University in Philippines on Tuesday, 26th April 2022.
The Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University is one of the universities in Kazakhstan with the most sufficient internationalization strategy and is ranked 130th in QS Emerging Europe and Central Asia Ranking. The cooperation is expected to increase internationalization levels at both institutions and develop a unique strategic partnership as both universities share the same vision and mission.
On the other hand, Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) in the Philippines is committed to producing leaders by providing a 21st century learning environment through innovations in education, multidisciplinary research, and community and industry partnerships in order to nurture the spirit of nationhood, propel the national economy, and engage the world for sustainable development. Therefore, the partnership between IBU and BiPSU is important in terms of sharing the most contemporary education practices as well as innovation components.
We expect that these agreements will serve as the base for establishing a close partnership for the benefit of all higher education institutions by promoting cultural exchanges, organization of short course programs, trainings and other events, as well as cooperation in the areas of practical teaching and learning.
