پروژه "معماری در حاشیه" که در برزیل شکل گرفته است، پروژه ایست برای زنان
کسری مسکن همواره یک کابوس برای خانواده های کم درآمد بوده است. در برزیل این مشکل به طورعمده برای زنان و کودکان تشدید می شود و برای رفع آن در جستجوی سقفی به سمت حاشیه می روند.
حاشیه تنها مرز یک شهر نیست. حاشیه ی قانون است، حاشیه ی سرگرمی است، حاشیه ی فرهنگ است و حاشیه ی احترام.
در این پروژه که مقیاس انسانی، پروژه "معماری در حاشیه" را توضیح می دهد؛ یک گروه از زنان که در معماری آموزش دیده اند، دانش و نگرش خود را با زنان محلات محروم به اشتراک می گذارند تا با کمک خود آن برایشان سقفی ساخته شود و در آن فراتر از آموختن چگونگی ساخت یک سرپناه، مهارت کسب اعتماد به نفس و شجاعت را می آموزند.

The housing deficit has always been a nightmare for low-income families. In Brazil the problem is aggravated and generates a lot of pain for women and children and to escape the suffocation of the rent, they move to the periphery.
The periphery is not only the limit of a city. It is the periphery of law. It is the periphery of entertainment. It is the periphery of culture. It is the periphery of respect.
In the "Architecture on the periphery" project: a group of women, trained in architecture, share knowledge and their attitude with women in isolated neighborhoods.
It is a project whose results are greater than the autonomy of knowing how to build a shelter of its own.
The result is the improvement of the self-esteem.
