📌 "Haftak" as the Persian Equivalent for "Tick"
Parvizi, Deputy of Lexicography at the Academy of Persian Language and Literature:
▫️The term "Tick," a widely used symbol in Persian, has been reviewed by the Academy's lexicography groups, and the equivalent "Haftak" has been chosen for it.
▫️The visual similarity of the "Tick" symbol to the number "7" in Persian was the basis for this selection.
📌«هفتک» برابر پارسی «تیک»
پرویزی معاون واژه‌گزینی فرهنگستان زبان پارسی:
▫️واژه «تیک» که نشانه‌ی پرکاربرد در زبان پارسی است، در گروه‌های واژه گزینی فرهنگستان بررسی و برابر #هفتک برای آن برگزیده شد.
▫️شباهت ظاهری نشانه‌ی «تیک» به "عدد هفت" در زبان فارسی، ملاک این برابر گزینی بوده است.
