Freud’s Persian Rug: A Bridge Between the Unconscious and the East
English: Freud’s #PersianRug is an inseparable part of his couch, having covered it for many years. Although #Freud believed the rug originated in Smyrna, it was actually made by the #Qashqai tribe in #Iran. The rug connects Freud’s study to the rich symbolism, culture, and storytelling traditions of the East, such as those found in One Thousand and One Nights.

پارسی: #فرش_ایرانی فروید بخشی جدایی‌ناپذیر از کاناپه معروف اوست که سال‌ها آن را پوشانده بود. با وجود اینکه #فروید تصور می‌کرد این #فرش از ازمیر آمده است، اما در واقع توسط قبیله #قشقایی در #ایران بافته شده است. این فرش اتاق کار فروید را به نمادگرایی غنی، فرهنگ و سنت‌های داستان‌سرایی شرق، نظیر هزار و یک شب، پیوند می‌دهد.
