Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Deeds are shown (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.”

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041)
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasai, 2361; Ibn Majah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044)

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It was said:
“O Messenger of Allah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?” He said: “On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another. He says: ‘Leave these two until they reconcile.’”

[ Sunan Ibn Majah 1740 ]

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The gates of Jannah are opened on Mondays and Thursdays, and then every slave (of Allah) is granted forgiveness if he does not associate anything with Allah in worship. But the person in whose heart there is rancour against his (Muslim) brother, they will not be pardoned and with regard to them it will be said twice: 'Hold both of them until they are reconciled with each other."'

[Muslim].

Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

"Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) used to weep to his wife on Thursdays, and she would weep to him, saying: 'Today, our deeds are presented before Allah, the Almighty.'"

Narrated Sahl:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are two blessings which many people do not make the best use of: good health and free time.” Narrated by al-Bukhari (6412).

He was asked:

About the mid-Sha'ban prayer?

He replied:

If a person prays the night of the mid-Sha'ban alone or in a group as groups of the Salaf used to do, then that is better. As for gathering in the mosques for a specific prayer, such as gathering for a hundred rak'ahs with a thousand recitations of {Say, He is Allah, the One} always. This is an innovation that none of the imams recommended. And Allah knows best.
📌 Fasting the 3 White Days:

The Prophet ﷺ:

‎“Fasting 3 days of each month is equivalent to fasting for a lifetime & the shining days of al-beed (white days) are 13th, 14th & 15th.”

[Sunan an-Nasa’i | 2420]

• Wednesday 12th February
[13th Sha’ban]

• Thursday 13th February
[14th Sha’ban]

• Friday 14th February
[15th Sha’ban]

💡The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ fasted Sha'baan the most after Ramadaan!
- The scholars differed on whether you can fast the whole month, and after the 15th of Shaaban and there's a difference on fasting the day of doubt and fasting 1 or 2 days before Ramadhan. For more details on the stronger opinion you can research it yourself.

Allāh Almighty said: "O you who have believed, fear Allāh and speak words of appropriate justice." [Al-Ahzāb: 70]

And the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever believes in Allāh and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent."

Let each person be keen on choosing their words carefully, speaking only what pleases Allāh. Let their tongue be a weapon for spreading good, not a tool for evil, for a word can elevate its speaker or cause their downfall.

Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #15

Whoever holds the reverence of Allāh deep in their heart, Allāh will instill reverence for them in the hearts of people and will not humiliate them.

Thus, a person must revere their Lord. Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, mentioned in the advice of Nuh to his people: "What is the matter with you that you do not attribute to Allāh [due] grandeur?"—meaning, why do you not strive to revere and magnify Allāh? Why do you not give Him the greatness He rightfully deserves? Why do you not fear Allāh, who has the power and ability to punish any one of you?

Therefore, my brothers, the greatest form of reverence is the servant’s reverence for their Lord and Master.
