Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #9
Lowering the gaze is a form of chastity, and chastity brings elevation in both this world and the Hereafter. It is a reason for great blessings. We see this in the story of Maryam, in the story of Yūsuf, and in the story of Mūsa. A person must be chaste, including chastity of the gaze, chastity of hearing, and chastity of the limbs. This chastity is performed as a fulfillment of Allāh’s right, out of fear of Him, and in hope of His mercy. It brings elevation in both this world and the Hereafter and is a cause of great blessings. The stories that Allāh has narrated to us about those whom He elevated in this world and the Hereafter were because of this.

من فوائد غض البصر ( ٩ ) /الشيخ ماهر ياسين الفحل
We all humans have needs but we are commanded to be patient. This world is patience for an hour. We all have negligence, we have slips, we have mistakes but we have to correct them if we fall into them. We correct them and fear Allāh, the Almighty, in ourselves. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: You will not leave anything for Allāh, the Almighty, except that He will replace it with something better for you. Something better for you than it. When you are in a bad relationship. Any relationship is bad if it does not please Allāh, the Almighty. They are all bad. Do not justify that I robbed this store and say I intend in the future when I have money to go and pay its price. This is theft. This is your talk. This is not an excuse. Do not let Shaytān deceive you by giving you any excuses for such relationships.

So leave, leave what Allāh ta'ālā does not like. Leave bad company. Leave your friend who talks to the opposite gender. Leave the movies and series that teach people this falsehood. O our young men and women, the thing that you see today is clever play. Tomorrow when you grow up, you will see, wallāhī, you will regret many of these things. You will say, “I wish we had not fallen into them.” Put locks on the doors of your lives. Put walls on your hearts. Do not make your heart like a trash can, a place to receive everything that is thrown at it. This is the you heart. Your heart is the most precious thing you have. You must preserve this heart. Protect it from corrupt thoughts, thoughts that are imported from series, movies, songs, and bad company. You must protect this heart until you purify it so that it is white as milk.

Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #11
Lowering the gaze is a reason for the growth of intellect. A wise person is one who recognizes good and seeks it, and recognizes evil and avoids it. So, be wise—grasp the good and restrain yourself from the evil. The intellect is called ‘aql because a person uses it to grasp good, understand it, and benefit from it, while it restrains them from evil. A person should not follow their desires or burden themselves with what is not theirs. Instead, one should enjoy and take pleasure in what Allāh has permitted, using their sight in ways that benefit them and bring them closer to Allāh.

Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #12
Lowering the gaze is an act of preferring the eternal over the immediate, and it is a sign of those who succeed. The people of success desire the Hereafter and make what they obtain in this world a means to the eternal abode. Ibn Hubayrah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: "Preferring the eternal reward over the immediate is the state of the scholars. Whoever is like this is a scholar, and whoever prefers the immediate is not a scholar." Therefore, a person must use everything in this world as a provision for the eternal abode. The Hereafter is everlasting, long, and continuous, while this world is fleeting, transient, and perishable.

Fawa'id from Sharh Ad-Dā' wad-Dawā' #7
Shaykh 'Abdur-Razāq Bin 'Abdul-Muhsin Al-'Abbād Al-Badr
1. Those who say Allah is more merciful to punish for some small sins: Allah is also fair and He gives each one what he deserves
2. One person thinks good about Allah while also striving to please Him as much as he can, the other is thinking good about Allah while committing all types of sins
3. These people only think good without any actions, what must be is that both of these are combined (thinking good about Allah with correct actions, and hope and fear together, as previously discussed)
4. One must fear that Allah will not accept his actions
5. The Salaf do good and then fear that it is not accepted
6. When someone has problems with certain sins he should look at the punishment for them
7. One always has to be fair and give people what they deserve and not steal because the punishment is severe
8. One must always act upon his knowledge
9. From the reasons for severe punishment is ordering people to good and not doing it oneself
10. Backbiting people is also a big reason for punishment and sadly it is very spread today and some people get together and travel distances to meet or they call each other just to backbite other people
11. It is very important to always ask Allāh to make you firm on the religion and this is from the most Dua' the Prophet ﷺ would make

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"When I was taken up (during the Night Journey), I passed by people with nails of copper scratching their own faces and chests. I asked, 'Who are these, O Jibril (Gabriel)?' He replied, 'These are the ones who eat the flesh of others (through backbiting) and attack their honor.'"
Reported by Anas, who said: The Prophet ﷺ used to say frequently:
“O Turner of hearts, make my heart steadfast upon Your religion.”
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The most privileged person in the world, who is destined for Hell, will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and dipped once into the Fire. Then it will be said, 'O son of Adam, have you ever seen any good? Have you experienced any blessing?' He will say, 'No, by Allah, my Lord.'
And the most miserable person in the world, who is destined for Paradise, will be brought and dipped once into Paradise. Then it will be said, 'O son of Adam, have you ever experienced any hardship? Among the Blessings of Friday: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah ﷻ for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr." (Various)
"This day is a festival which Allah has ordained for the Muslims." (Ibn Majah)
"When Friday comes, the angels sit at the doors of the Masjid and record who comes to Jumu'ah prayers. Then, when the Imam comes out, the angels roll up their scrolls." (al-Nisa'i)
"No Muslim passes away on Friday, or it's night, but that Allah will protect him from the trial of the grave." (al-Tirmidhi)
"Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present and the last Friday would be forgiven." (Bukharī)
Do not forget to read Surat al-Kahf. Our Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light¹ between this Friday and the next." (al-Sunan al-Kubra)
¹ light means guidance & great reward
"If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of the Surat Al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjal" (Muslim)
The Prophet ﷺ said: "The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it, Adam was created. On it, he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday." (Tirmidhi)
It is recommended to recite Surat al-Kafirun and Surat al-Ikhlas in the two Sunnah rak‘ahs of Fajr and Maghrib: https://islamqa.info/en/answers/85349
Surat al-Kahf may be read during the night or the day of Friday (Jumu’ah). The night of Jumu’ah starts from sunset on Thursday, and the day of Jumu’ah ends at sunset. Therefore, the time for reading surat al-Kahf extends from sunset on Thursday to sunset on Friday: https://islamqa.info/en/answers/10700
It is prescribed to recite Soorat as-Sajdah and Soorat ad-Dahr [al-Insaan] in Fajr prayer on Friday, and there is nothing wrong with always doing that. But if there is the fear that some people may think that it is obligatory to always recite them, then it is prescribed for him not to recite them sometimes: https://islamqa.info/en/answers/121175
Ibn al-Qayyim رَحِمَهُ الله said:
“Friday is the day when the people of Paradise will receive the ever-increasing reward. It is the day when they will see Allah, the Exalted. Those who were the earliest to go to the mosque on Friday will be the first to receive this honor… Thus, the nearest to Allah were those nearest to the Imam on Friday. The residents of Paradise are eager for Friday, the day of such an increase, due to the honor they will receive on that day.”

"Friday prayer is one of the most important obligations in Islam, and one of the greatest gatherings of the Muslims. Gathering on Friday is more important and more obligatory than any other gathering apart from ‘Arafah. Whoever neglects it, Allāh will place a seal on his heart."

Recommended Recitation In the Two Sunnah Rak‘ahs Of Fajr and Maghrib - Islam Question & Answer
It is recommended to recite Surat al-Kafirun and Surat al-Ikhlas in the two Sunnah rak‘ahs of Fajr and Maghrib.
﷽
Assalāmu 'alaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh.
I recently recorded a video on the topic of if a woman can recite the Qur'ān (without touching the Mushaf) on her mensturation.
I mentioned the Athar of Ibn Abī Shaybah, Abdur-Razzāq, Ibnul Mundhir & Ad-Dārimī from the Sahābah on this topic.
However, today I saw that Shaykh 'Uthmān Bin Farouq uploaded a video on the same topic but he searched on another proof for this topic which is a Hadith.
During my research for my video I did not mention this Hadīth because I thought that it is weak (based on the ruling of Al-Albānī & Ibn 'Uthaymīn).
However, Shaykh 'Uthmān Bin Farouq mentioned that Ibn Kathīr (the author of the Tafsīr & of Al-Bidāyah wan-Nihāyah) accepted this Hadīth.
He discussed the issues related to the grading of the Hadith in the video which can be found here: https://youtu.be/bLUhL-0yOgU.
I advise the one who wants to understand this issue to watch his video then watch mine after that in shā' Allāh ta'ālā.

Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #8
Lowering the gaze is a form of fortification, and the noblest fortification is when you guard the gateway of your heart so that nothing Allāh dislikes infiltrates it. Whoever safeguards Allāh in the stirrings of their heart, Allāh will safeguard their limbs and all their affairs. Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, said: "If Allāh knows good in your hearts, He will give you better." Therefore, always keep your heart inclined toward goodness, always distance it from evil, and turn to Allāh, the Exalted, both in action and abstention. Hold yourself accountable for everything and reflect on your states in every matter. If it is something Allāh loves, then proceed; but if it is something Allāh does not love, then beware, beware, and again beware.

Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #13
The act of lowering the gaze is a form of worship that increases faith. The one who lowers their gaze feels the nearness of Allāh, senses Allāh's presence, and knows that Allāh is All-Seeing of His servants. They are aware that Allāh rewards righteous deeds, and they draw closer to Allāh through this act of worship. Whoever seeks closeness to Allāh, Allāh will draw them near, shelter them, suffice them, and support them.
Thus, the act of lowering the gaze is a worship that increases faith, for faith increases through obedience and decreases through sin. O servants of Allah, worship Allāh and do not neglect His rights. Protect yourselves from unlawful gazes.

Benefits of Lowering the Gaze #14
Lowering the gaze stems from fear of Allāh and refraining from following desires that lead a person astray. Allāh, the Exalted, says: "But as for the one who feared standing before his Lord and restrained himself from impure desires, then indeed, Paradise will be his abode."
And as for the one who feared standing before his Lord—this refers to one who is fearful of their position before Allāh on the Day of Judgment for reckoning, and so they guard themselves by obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions.
And restrained himself from impure desires—this means they forbade and prevented their soul from pursuing anything that displeases Allāh.
Then indeed, Paradise will be his abode—this means Paradise will be their dwelling and final resting place in the Hereafter.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It was said:
“O Messenger of Allah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?” He said: “On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another. He says: ‘Leave these two until they reconcile.’”
[ Sunan Ibn Majah 1740 ]
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The gates of Jannah are opened on Mondays and Thursdays, and then every slave (of Allah) is granted forgiveness if he does not associate anything with Allah in worship. But the person in whose heart there is rancour against his (Muslim) brother, they will not be pardoned and with regard to them it will be said twice: 'Hold both of them until they are reconciled with each other."'
[Muslim].
Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) used to weep to his wife on Thursdays, and she would weep to him, saying: 'Today, our deeds are presented before Allah, the Almighty.'"
