The most important academic on the planet right now is Dr Mattias Desmet.

Desmet's work on mass formation psychosis is pivotal in understanding the how such a large chunk of the population remains steadfast in accepting the Covid-19 narrative.

As Desmet says, 'The more absurd the narrative is, and the more absurd the measures are, the more successful they will be for a percentage of the population.'

I believe this theory is transferable to Save the Planet, Black Lives Matter, and even Love is Love. The same lack of investigation into the truth is present; largely due to our susceptibility to the repition of simple mantras that absolve us from thinking. I.e., 'We're all in this together'.

It can be said that such a desperate need to understand cause and effect becomes far greater in a society with ever less religious faith and ever more science.

The willingness to join the crowd and participate in the madness is a result of reasonable people searching for an answer to uncertainty -- even if it means disregarding reason.

It is also easier to seek personal wellbeing by joining the crowd and avoiding personal responsibility. Rather than risk being an outlier who may be more comfortable sitting in the uncertainty.

This leads to a high-level of cognitive dissonance, which is much more likely to last for a longer period of time when it is present in a large crowd. The reason for this should be self-evident. More people means more madness.

Dr Desmet says mass formation psychosis is usually present within ~%30 of the popultion. It could, however, be greater than this, given the growth of ever large governments and institutions.

We are more engulfed by crowd thinking than ever before.

Institutions have become the new formalised crowd. That is to say that the 'Madness' has become formalised.

So how do we stop this?

The only way out of this is for people to recognise the madness and regain their senses one by one.
