It should have ended long ago. There are ZERO reasons why any of our freedoms should now be infringed because of COVID.

A note to business owners, managers and workers: if you refuse entry or service to a person who has a medical exemption from wearing a mask then you are likely to be engaging in unlawfu discrimination. Also, no one is required to show you any exemption.
If your employer is suggesting otherwise, then tell them they are wrong and show them this information because it could be your backside on the line.

If what he suggests (herd immunity developed by the near-harmless Omicron variant) was the “Australian Protocol”, I’d be happy. COVID-19 is now rapidly spreading throughout Australia which has a population that is largely vaccinated. Only vaccinated visitors are allowed into Australia, which means COVID has been brought into the country by those who are vaccinated. Given this, the rationale for discriminating against those who aren’t vaccinated — including keeping out non-vaccinated visitors — seems illogical. Yet, tennis great Novak Djokovic is being deported (after arriving to play in the Australia Open) because he’s not vaccinated.
