Sim's Park is in Coonoor, The Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. It is an important tourist place to visit in Coonoor, at a height of 1780 meters above mean sea level. Here the maximum temperature goes up to 30 degree Celsius and the minimum falls to 5 °C. The average rain fall of this garden is 150 cm. It extends over an area of 12 hectares of undulating land and possesses a number of natural advantages.

This is an unusual park-cum-botanical garden that was developed around the natural contours of the land more than a hundred years ago by Mr. J.D. Sims and Major Murray in the year of 1874. Naturally occurring trees, shrubs and creepers are in the park as are many unusual species of plants that have been brought in from a variety of places around the world. The main event in this park is an annual fruit show and vegetable show held in May.

This is a natural garden. Inside the park there are some beautiful terrace with colorful flower beds, lawns and rockeries also there are some Naturally occurring trees, shrubs, creepers and many unusual species of plants that have been brought from a variety of places around the world. The garden as some rare economic trees like Rudraksh- bead tree, Cinnamomum, Queensland karry pine, a handsome ornamental tree and graceful trees like Araucaria, Quercus, Phoenix, Magnolia, Pine, Turpentine, Tree ferns, Camellia this is all are as many attractions in this park. There is a glass house housing different ornamental plants and flowers. On the other side of the park rose garden are maintained. This park has more than 1000 species of 255 genera belonging to 85 families widely covering different group of plants.
Located 60 km from the Thrissur district of Kerala, Athirapally Falls is a marvellous cascade of frothy waters that makes its way from the Anamudi mountains of the Western Ghats. Also called as Bahubali Waterfall, this 80 ft high and 330 ft wide marvel is the largest waterfall in Kerala.
Avalanchi Lake is an important tourism destination in the Nilgiris district. The lake is surrounded by a rolling landscape with blooming flowers like magnolias, orchids and rhododendrons. Tourists can traverse beside the lake through winding paths around the lake. Tourists visiting the lake can also engage themselves in Trout fishing. A trout hatchery is established near the lake, from where visitors can get fishing rods and other fishing accessories required for trout fishing. The lake is also used by tourists as a camp site wherein they pitch tents near the lake. Other tourist activities in the area include rafting across the lake and trekking the nearby hilly regions like Upper Bhavani where there are thick forests and untouched wild habitats.
Arunachalesvara Temple also called Annamalaiyar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva located at the base of Arunachala hill in the town of Tamil Nadu India. It is significant to the Hindu sect of Saivism as one of the temples associated with the five elements the Pancha Bhoota Stalas and specifically the element of fire or Agni.

MGM Dizzee World is a theme park located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is located in East Coast Road. The park has a log flume, Ferris wheel, spider spin, roller coaster, the funny mountain, dashing cars, super trooper, a water world and it also hosts special seasonal shows.

It is owned by MGM Group of Companies.

The park also hosts special features such as snow valley experience introduced during the early 2000s; an artificial snow shower with snow-capped mountain and a snow man.

#PataleeswararTemple, #Cuddalore is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Shiva in the town of #Thirupathiripuliyur, Cuddalore. It was constructed during the Pallava and Medieval Chola periods.

The Saivite saint Appar is believed to have adopted Saivism at this temple. It is one of the shrines of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams

There is a belief/myth that by worshiping this God a single time is equal to 16 times worshiping the Shiva in Kasi, eight times in Thiruvannamalai, and three times in Chidambaram.

Thirupathiripuliyur in Cuddalore is one of the ancient temples in Tamil Nadu. It is named after the Pathiri Tree and the Puliyur, a tiger-legged saint who obtained absolution in the area.

Devaara Thiruthalam is a show on Peppers TV that features Shiva temples that have been mentioned in the Thirumurai, ancient Tamil poetry written by the Shaivite Saints.

A majestic Lord Ganesha idol carved out of a single boulder, #KadyavarchaGanpati is a popular tourist attraction in the hill-station of #Matheran. The word ‘Kada’ means edge in the native language Marathi and so, this idol gets its name because it is located on the edge of a mountain. Beautifully painted with vibrant colors, this idol impresses the visitors with its huge size. A short trek takes the hikers to this spot.

Central Railway’s #Matheran Hill Railway is a narrow-gauge heritage railway in #Maharashtra, India. A delight to the tourists and the route to the summer destination for Mumbaikar’s covers a distance of 21 kms cutting a swathe through forest in Western Ghats from Neral to Matheran. The narrow gauge railway line halts at three stations in between Jummapatti, Waterpipe, Aman Lodge and terminate at Matheran.

The #MatheranHill Railway covers a distance of 20 kilometers between #Neral and Matheran in the #WesternGhats. The construction of the #MatheranHillRailway was led by Abdul Peerbhoy and was financed by his father, Sir Adamjee Peerbhoy of the Adamjee Group. The route was designed in 1900, with construction beginning in 1904 and completed in 1907. Until the 1980s, the railway was closed during monsoon season due to increased risk of landslides, but it is now kept open throughout the year. The line is administered by Central Railways.
