We witnessed a historic moment this week.

The European Council has granted the candidate status to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and Moldova 🇲🇩, and to Georgia 🇬🇪 the perspective to become a member.

This decision by the EU leaders strengthens us all.

Our Union has a history of young democracies getting stronger together.

The aspiring countries are working to implement the necessary reforms, such as rule of law, fundamental freedoms, economy and functioning of democratic institutions, to move to the next stages of the European accession process.

These reforms are also good for the countries, good for the democracy, because it strengthens the competitiveness of the countries, and ultimately, they are good for the citizens.

Україна приєдналася до програми ЄС «LIFE» з питань навколишнього середовища та клімату.

Вторгнення Росії в Україну викликає забруднення води, моря, землі та повітря, що матиме довгостроковий вплив на навколишнє середовище.

Приєднавшись до програми, українські державні та приватні організації отримають фінансову підтримку для проектів з очищення та відновлення забруднених територій після руйнування таким чином, щоб захистити та відновити природу та бути сумісними з циркулярною та нульовою економікою.



Ukraine joins the LIFE environment and climate programme.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine is causing water, sea, land and air pollution that will have long-term effects on the environment.

By joining the programme, Ukrainian public and private organisations will receive financial support for projects to clean up and rebuild the polluted areas after destruction in a way that protects and restores nature and is compatible with a circular and zero-emission economy.

🇺🇦ЄС розпочав постачання Збройним силам України понад 90 вантажівок підвищеної прохідності в межах Європейського фонду миру.

Вантажівки надаються для підтримки медичних, інженерних та матеріально-технічних підрозділів ЗСУ.

Зокрема, це постачання включає:

✔️медичне обладнання (зокрема польового госпіталя);
✔️інженерне обладнання (включно з інструментами розмінування);
✔️предмети для підрозділів матеріально-технічного забезпечення (зокрема вантажівки й інші засоби);
✔️обладнання для підвищення спроможностей кіберзахисту.

🇪🇺The EU has started to deliver more than 90 off-road trucks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the European Peace Facility.

The trucks will support medical, engineering and logistic units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The delivery includes:

✔️medical equipment (including field hospital)
✔️engineering equipment (including demining tools)
✔️items for logistics units (including trucks and other assets)
✔️equipment to enhance cyber defence capabilities.
