🇪🇺 The European Commission together with Poland is launching an initiative in relation to the Ukrainian children illegally abducted from the occupied territories of Ukraine by the Russian military.

💬 "Since the beginning of the invasion, it is estimated that the Russian forces have sent thousands of Ukrainian children to Russia. The abduction of Ukrainian children is a great social problem, a tragedy and a crime," - Deputy chief spokeswoman of the European Commission Dana Spinant.

The aim of the initiative, supported by the UN agencies, is to join forces and collect evidence so that the abducted children can be found and those responsible for the crimes are brought to justice.
