You will be telling it to your husband. You will be earnestly imparting it to your friend. Without the charms of eloquence you will be more than eloquent: your heart will speak, and your eyes will flash as you talk of His sweet love. Every Christian here is either a missionary or an imposter.” 💬

Why did The Well Church decide to begin supporting Elim Missionary Lynette Orange?
Pastor Harry Goodwin talked to us about the church's thought process:
"Supporting an existing missionary allows us to do our part to fulfil the Great Commission beyond our locality, and it allows us to locally fulfil our obligation to help achieve Elim's four national priorities. I would ask any church leader when it comes to making a difference to our international missionaries, 'If not YOU then WHO? If not NOW then WHEN?'"

Missions Sunday is on Sunday 23rd June. Every year on the Sunday closest to the 23rd of June, Elim churches mark the anniversary of the Vumba Massacre, when nine Elim Missionaries and four of their children were killed for their faith in 1978.
On Missions Sunday we take time to honour our martyrs, we pray for our Missionaries serving around the world today, and we consider how we each will respond to the call of God to make disciples of all nations.
