Please continue to pray for Ukraine and our missions partner and his family. We have had a period of no contact which has been concerning. The last contact we had was on Friday early morning that the family had been turned away from the border.
We have just had a message that “the Russians began to shoot where the roads go towards Romania” They are now in a long queue near the border of Poland and hoping and praying they will be able to cross tomorrow and apply for asylum. If they can get through we have an initial place for them to stay while we assess and work out the next steps. Please pray that they are able to cross safely into Poland. For peace in the midst of a very stormy situation. That as a family they will not be traumatised by this and that ultimately God will turn this awful situation for their good and His glory.

Access to food or healthcare is a challenge for many children, especially those orphaned or left vulnerable to care for themselves. Elim Missions cares about showing God’s heart to children worldwide. We currently work in 15 countries. This is the work of our BELOVED campaign.

With between 2-4million people trafficked across borders each year, 300,000 child soldiers working around the world and approx. 3,287 men, women and children being taken and sold every day, it is hard not to stand up and take note of those who are not free, those who don’t have a voice and those whose hope has been lost. To the child rescued from child labour, child soldiers, to the abused women and rape survivors, the opportunity of an escape and a new beginning is like a gift of life itself. This is the work of our BEFREE campaign.

Elim Missions is launching an ERA appeal to support those affected by the conflict in Ukraine. https://www.elim.org.uk/Articles/630853/ERA_European_Conflict.aspx In partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, our Elim Missionaries in the area and our Elim Global National Leader Viktor, we will work together in support. Many of you will be aware of Samaritan’s Purse through Operation Christmas Child, through which they have contacts in over 3000 churches in Ukraine, distributing over 600,000 shoeboxes for children. Samaritan’s Purse has already deployed multiple Disaster Assistance Response Teams (DART) at 9 border crossings in Romania, Moldova and Poland. Each of these advance teams includes a medical staff member who will work to identify if there are any health needs that are un...
