Save the Date! 📆
Missions Sunday is on Sunday 23rd June. Every year on the Sunday closest to the 23rd of June, Elim churches mark the anniversary of the Vumba Massacre, when nine Elim Missionaries and four of their children were killed for their faith in 1978.
On Missions Sunday we take time to honour our martyrs, we pray for our Missionaries serving around the world today, and we consider how we each will respond to the call of God to make disciples of all nations.
How is your church going to mark Missions Sunday this year?

Georgina & Joseph's Story 📖
I (Georgina) grew up in and attended Ealing Christian Centre (ECC) from a young age. I grew up with missionary parents (Mark and Cora King), so missions was always in my life in a way. In 2004, my family and I moved to Cebu, Philippines as full-time missionaries. I spent 3 years in the Philippines and was mainly involved in worship and children’s ministries.
I (Joseph), a Filipino living in the mountain region of Cebu, started attending Portland Christian Centre (a church planted by Mark, Cora and their family) in 2007, where I went on to be trained by Mark and Cora, mainly involved in worship, youth and children’s ministries. Georgina and I met when she came out again on a short-term mission in 2016, and let’s just say the Holy Spirit did the rest!
Our leadership roles include overseeing the teaching and training of children’s ministry teachers, worship training and preaching. Joseph spent 2-3 years helping Pastor a ‘sister’...

ERA: Middle East Conflict 🇮🇱 🇵🇸
On 7 October 2023, Hamas attacked Israel in a way that shocked the region and upended its entire security. Israel's response with its stated goals of destroying Hamas and freeing hostages has resulted in a displacement of nearly 85% of Gaza’s 2.3 million people and to date a death toll estimated at 34,000+ and 75,000 injured.
Alongside our partner operating in Jerusalem; Maoz, Nazareth Chaplains and Pastors in the West Bank we are aiming to provide first-aid trauma support to victims on both sides of the conflict.
The Comfort Cub has offered us 750 therapeutic weighted bears (see information below) valued $35,000, for the cost of shipping them to Israel.
The Bears are tools, accompanied by Chaplains and other Moaz personnel who are trained in Trauma care and First responders.
We have significant contacts who have direct contact with the families of hostages and many families affected by the conflict in the West Bank and...

Pawel & Monika's Story 💬
Monika and I both felt the call to missions as individuals before we got married. From a young age, Monika had always wanted to go to the nations and she trained as a nurse in order to work towards that goal. I always had a father’s heart for the broken-hearted.
Monika ministers through prophetic dancing and intercession and I have seen the Lord minister healing, deliverance and restoration to individuals, families and churches through my ministry.
Monika and I were born in the 1960s, during the rule of Communism in Poland. Our childhood was spent within the terror of the Communist dictatorship during which we experienced oppression, intimidation and lack of freedom. In our inner being there was a yearning for freedom and for knowing truth and reality.
After the Iron Curtain came down the churches began to receive a supernatural outpouring because of a hunger for freedom, righteousness and a new life. God began to supernatural...
