👋 Meet our Missionaries 👋

My name is Bogdan Pop and I am married to Andrada. We live in Sardu which is a village near Cluj-Napoca.

I have lived in Sardu all my life and come from an Eastern Orthodox Church background. When I was 9 years old Bob & Edith McDonald and Liz Face came on a mission to our country. I attended some of their meetings and heard the Gospel explained.

In 2014 I became a Christian and started to read the Scriptures. My subsequent conversion to Christ came with a call to be part of the Roma Church community in Sânpaul, where I am still serving.

I have had the privilege of being involved in several short-term missions in Eastern Europe and being trained through the Elim Missions Academy programme.

Currently I am part of the Corabia Foundation team where I am involved in ministry to children and teenagers and the Roma Church.

I also work in farming and my wife Andrada is a health care professional in the hospital.

Vam...

👋 Meet our Missionaries 👋

We are Roy and Lainey Hitchman, and we are Elim missionaries serving in Hungary and throughout Europe. Our ministry falls into three areas.

Reach
We are working with our local church to create a community of people who are living as disciples of Jesus and seeking to multiply through disciple-making. Living in a university town provides a unique opportunity to disciple young adults from diverse backgrounds. We understand what it is like to live far from friends and family and are growing a gospel community for Hungarian and international students offering them mutual support, friendship and discipleship.

Restore
We believe in God’s ability to restore marriages and families. We minister to crisis marriages many of the couples who come to them are involved in churches, ministries and programmes which are reliant upon them. A couple that feels they are drowning finds it difficult to reach out and help others. It is important to make ...

👋 Meet Our Missionaries 👋

My name is Georgina Batucan and I am an Elim Missionary working alongside my husband Joseph in the Philippines. Joseph and I have been married since December 2019 and have been parents to Elijah since February 2021.

I (Georgina) grew up in and attended Ealing Christian Centre (ECC) from a young age. I grew up with missionary parents (Mark and Cora King), so missions was always in my life in a way. In 2004, my family and I moved to Cebu, Philippines as full-time missionaries. I spent 3 years in the Philippines and was mainly involved in worship and children’s ministries.

I (Joseph), a Filipino living in the mountain region of Cebu, started attending Portland Christian Centre (PCC-a church planted by Mark, Cora and their family) in 2007, where I went on to be trained by Mark and Cora, mainly involved in worship, youth and children’s ministries. Georgina and I met when she came out again on a short-term mission in 2016, and let’s jus...

👋 Meet Our Missionaries 👋

Having spent about the first 20 years of our adult lives denying that God even existed we are still amazed and so very grateful that our God wants to redeem the irredeemable and transform all the things that could have caused us harm into the very things that have led us to trust and depend on Him. In February 2000 we began a journey with God which in 2002 took us to a very poor, rural community in the south west of Kenya. Within 12 months we had a small Children’s Home, the first two classes of a Primary school and a church that met under a tarpaulin. God has been very faithful to us and we are now able to educate and feed 230 children in our Primary School and 80 children in our first three Forms of High School.

The Home and the Schools come under the banner of our registered charity Hope and Kindness and our aim is to provide a first-class education for children and young people who would have struggled to even stay in school. The church is now part of Elim Gospel Church Kenya and its Kenyan pastor is working together with us and the school teachers to love, encourage and equip every child so that God’s purpose for their lives will be fulfilled. Working as Elim missionaries we hope that we will see the kingdom of God established in our part of Kenya and in the lives of everybody we work with.

👋 Meet Our Missionaries 👋

Gordon is married to Sybil and they have three children and seven grandchildren. Gordon and Sybil come from Motherwell and served with Elim International Missions in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 17 years before moving in 1999 to Nyangombe in the North Western Province of Zambia on the border with Angola and DRC.

Nyangombe Christian Training Centre in Mwinilunga District of Zambia is the only Bible Teaching and Christian Youth Training Institute in over 100,000 square kilometres. Our vision is to present Christ to the Lunda people of this area so that they can come to an understanding of the abundant, fear free life made available in Christ Jesus and live as strong Christians within their own culture.

Whatever has been achieved in the past is behind us, as the great apostle once said, and we now look forward, straining towards what lies ahead that we might see many more transformed lives and the Lord Jesus loved & honou...
