Tomorrow there will be a vote in the House of Representatives on the Section 702 bill from the House Intelligence Committee. Section 504 of the bill states that if enacted, all businesses that have customers and Wi-Fi - shops, restaurants, cafes, libraries, swimming pools, etc. - will be required to turn over all of their customers' digital router data at the government's request.

This is genuine psychopathy. If the law is passed, we have begun the journey to the end of humanity. It's that bad.

The House of Representatives must vote against the bill. Instead, they should vote for the Protect Liberty & End Warrantless Surveillance Act, a bill passed by the House Judiciary Committee by a vote of 35-2 that reauthorizes Section 702 with strong reforms to protect Americans' privacy and civil liberties.
