“Léon Harmel – L’origine catholique de la paix sociale dans le monde contemporain” is the title of a new book recently published by Éditions Salvator, written by Émeric Saucourt-Harmel, a direct descendant of Léon Harmel and a close acquaintance of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SCJ).

Chad | School Inauguration
On October 30th, a new school was inaugurated at a Dehonian mission in Chad. This was the fruit of a heartfelt project, made possible thanks to the support of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and many donors from Germany.
Around 1,400 people gathered to celebrate this special event—children, students, youth, parents, representatives of the diocese, the military, local politics, and many members of the entire parish. Some even walked over 15 miles to Colon just to be a part of it.

On October 30th, a new school was inaugurated at a Dehonian mission in Chad. This was the fruit of a heartfelt project, made possible thanks to the support of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and many donors from Germany.

A testimony of faithfulness… till the end – reflection of a Polish dehonian on the Dehonian Memorial Day.
In 1964, 28 Dehonians were murdered in Congo during a violent rebellion. Nuns, doctors, a diocesan priest, and members of the Protestant clergy were also murdered.

On the occasion of the centenary of the Founder’s death, the Superior General, Fr. Carlos Luis Suarez, celebrated the sending of three Dehonians on a mission to Cuba on December 8, 2025. Cuba thus marks the ninth Dehonian presence in Latin America.

The blessing of the said center took place on October 29, 2025, presided over by His Excellency, Most Reverend James Anaparambil, Bishop of Alleppey.
