The Embassy, in a statement published on its website, said that it will not receive applications for short-stay visas and residence permits in Denmark, TASS reported. The Danish Embassy will receive applications from people who will be visiting Denmark on official trips.

Polish primary school prepares drawings for Kiev war museum

A primary school in Sieradz, in cooperation with the Lodz-based Koper Pomaga Foundation, prepared drawings which are set to be displayed at the War Museum in Kiev.

Children prepared drawings symbolising the unity and friendship between Poland and Ukraine, expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

Similar activities were organised across Poland over recent weeks including charity campaigns for Ukrainian refugees.

New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will meet U.S. President Joe Biden on Tuesday at the White House, where she said she expects to discuss ongoing U.S. engagement in the Indo-Pacific region.

"Top of mind for us, alongside the situation in Ukraine, is the situation in our region," she told New Zealand media at a press conference in Washington D.C. "We'll be encouraging the United States to really continue and strengthen engagement in our region including economic engagement, which is really critical to our region."

Finland has to stop "protecting" what Turkey considers a terrorist organisation and take Turkey's security concerns seriously if it wants Turkey to accept it in NATO, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's spokesperson told a Finnish newspaper on Tuesday.

"The problem is not that Finland would not understand Turkey. Finland refuses to take Turkey's security concerns seriously," Communications Director of the Turkish President, Fahrettin Altun told Finland's largest daily Helsingin Sanomat by email.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Saudi Arabia on Wednesday where he will meet with foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC), two Gulf officials said on Tuesday.

Lavrov is expected to meet with ministers of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar in the GCC headquarters in Riyadh, said the officials, asking not to be named.

India has received requests for the supply of more than 1.5 million tonnes of wheat from several countries that need the staple to overcome shortages triggered by the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, trade and government sources said on Monday.

"More than half a dozen countries have approached India for more than 1.5 million tonnes of wheat and we will see how to go about these requests," said a government official who didn't wish to be identified in line with official rules.
