PM’s 21-point Action Plan for BIMSTEC cooperation gets going!
The 1st phase of the BIMSTEC Cancer Care Capacity-building Program, organized by MEA and DAE, was launched at Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai. 21 participants from BIMSTEC countries will be trained in a 4-week long program in Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology.
This initiative announced by PM Narendra Modi during the 6th BIMSTEC Summit, in line with its #NeighborhoodFirst policy, will pave the way for cooperation in the critical area of cancer care, and in addressing health challenges of the people of the BIMSTEC region.
