In the wake of devastating landslides in Sikkim, Indian Air Force (IAF) is tirelessly undertaking Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations—airlifting essential relief supplies and deploying NDRF personnel to remote, cut-off areas. IAF Mi-17 helicopters have evacuated 33 stranded people, including two US nationals from Chaten region.

Wide-ranging talks were held on military cooperation, training & capacity building, defence industrial collaboration & regional security in the Indian Ocean Region.

India has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for a large-scale Indian Air Force (IAF) exercise scheduled for June 7–8 along the southern section of the Indo-Pakistan border.
Exercise will begin at 3:30 pm on June 7 and conclude at 9:30 p.m. on June 8. During this period, airspace over the designated zone will be restricted to facilitate a range of aerial operations.
