Last night, the Indian Air Force effectively thwarted enemy attacks using its Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS), which enabled swift detection and response.

In a coordinated counter-attack, the IAF deployed long-range loitering munitions to strike targets across the border in Pakistan.

To tackle incoming drones, the IAF used shoulder-mounted surface-to-air missiles and several advanced counter-drone systems, including electronic jamming rifles designed to disrupt drone navigation.

The IAF also employed the SAMAR system — a short-range, quick-reaction air defense solution developed in-house, which repurposes Russian R-73 and R-27 air-to-air missiles to intercept low-flying aerial threats like drones.
