DRDO and Indian Navy Conducts successful flight test of Vertically-Launched Short-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (VLSRSAM) against a high-speed aerial target at very close range and low altitude.

The Defence Ministry signed βΉ2,500 crore contracts under the Buy (Indian-IDDM) category to strengthen indigenous capabilities. The deal includes βΉ1,801.34 crore for the Nag Missile System from Armoured Vehicles Nigam Ltd. (AVNI), boosting anti-tank firepower. Additionally, Force Motors and Mahindra will supply 5,000 modern light vehicles with an 800 kg payload capacity to enhance mobility.
