Jamaat-e-Islami Bajaur General Secretary Hameed Sufi assassinated in Anayat Killi, Bajaur.
Sufi was a relative of local TTP commander Maulvi Faqir Muhammad.
Local buzz: ISKP is behind the assassination because Sufi Hameed was part of delegation sent by the Pakistani government for negotiations with the TTP in Kabul. Earlier in 2022, his cousin Mufti Bashir Ahmad, was also assassinated in an attack claimed by ISKP.
