The opening ceremony of the 3rd edition of Exercise Austra Hind 2024, a joint military exercise between India and Australia, was held today at the Foreign Training Node, Pune, Maharashtra.
The exercise is scheduled from 08 to 21 November 2024. The objective of the exercise is to strengthen interoperability between the Indian Army and the Australian Army in conducting Sub-Conventional Operations under the UN Mandate.

The Hon'ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, witnessed the operational demonstration by the Indian Navy at sea on 07 November 2024. The Hon'ble President arrived at INS Hansa, Naval Air Station at Goa on 07 November 2024 and was received by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS, and Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh, FOCINC, WNC. A 150-men ceremonial Guard of Honour was paraded on her arrival.
