The historic wagh nakh, the tiger claw-shaped weapon reportedly used by Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to kill Bijapur Sultanate general Afzal Khan in the 1659 Battle of Pratapgarh, has been put on display at the Satara Museum on Friday for the next seven months.

Wagh nakh was brought to India from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum on July 17 to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Maratha ruler’s ascension to the throne.

The Indian Navy on Monday said that a fire erupted onboard Indian Naval Ship Brahmaputra, causing the vessel to tilt heavily to its port side, with one junior sailor missing, for whom a search is currently underway.

The Indian Navy said: "A fire had broken out onboard the Indian Naval Ship Brahmaputra, a multi-role Frigate, on the evening of 21 Jul 24 while she was undergoing refit.
