Indian Army's Engineering Corps has successfully completed the construction of a 70-foot Bailey Bridge on the Dikchu-Sanklang road In just 72 hours.

Indian Navy bids farewell to the UH-3 helicopter after 17 years of distinguished service during a de-induction ceremony held on 28 Jun 24 at INS Dega, Visakhapatnam.

On 28 Jun 2024 night, while deinducting from a military training activity, an army tank got struck in the Shyok River, near Saser Brangsa, Eastern Ladakh due to a sudden increase in the water level. Rescue teams rushed to the location, however, due to high current and water levels, the rescue mission didn't succeed and the tank crew lost their lives.
A Navy officer, Lieutenant Commander Vipin Kumar Dagar, has been arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for running a fake South Korean visa racket.

He allegedly facilitated the travel of 8-10 individuals to South Korea on forged documents, charging each person ₹10 lakhs.

The racket involved submitting fraudulent documents, such as medical certificates and bank statements, to the South Korean consulate.

The individuals would then discard their passports upon arrival and seek asylum, claiming persecution and human rights violations in India.

Dagar has been placed in police custody and a manhunt is on for five additional individuals involved in the syndicate.
The President of Azerbaijan dissolved the country's parliament, early elections are scheduled for September 1, it follows from the order.
